So i just finished watching and despite the fact it's freakin awesome ! the ending sucked :( i mean ... i wanted to see what happens to taiki , and kei prosperous and all ... anyway my question is ... are the novels that say what happens next going to be animated? or was it all dropped? :cry:

AFAIK the anime run ended because the novel author was taken ill and stopped writing them and they didn't want to run fillers. I'm not sure if the novels were ever completed, though. I liked the anime and doubt I could get in to them. The chances of the anime resuming even if they were are very slim regardless. A shame, because it's such an epic story.

:( to bad , really wanted to see the ending but i'm not a big books fan :( truly an epic story ... and i'm gonna ruin it trying to imagine what would happen ...

The novels were never completed. The author went to work on other projects (Ghost Hunt is one of them) and didn't continue with Juuni Kokuki. However, the novels that were not adapted into anime included one book about that young looking Empress from Kyou I think it was (the one who has had a reign of 90 or more years) and another book where they rescue Taiki from Wa. However, what happened in Tai to send Taiki back to Japan and what happened to Tai's Emperor has been a permanent history, since that was never written.
