| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well I actually like the first episode. The OP song was decent and the premise is fun although having a perverted roommate made me lol. I think Usa was enthralled there for a moment in the beginning. Still, I like the atmosphere overall. Comedy is also fun. I sure as hell hope Usa will survive his new living condition. Living with that pervert guy does not look like fun. Looks like Kana Hanazawa is starring in this show again. I'm looking forward to see how our two main characters develop. Usa is way too shy although I like the way Ritsu is portrayed with her tougher personality. On another note, Usa has someone interested in him already LOL. Or somewhat. I'm ready for more of the comedy. But seriously, I enjoyed the first episode. Need more! |

| What a dysfunctional household, but the characters are set up to be funny and enjoyable. Ritsu is such a beautiful dandere even if she's violent at times and Mayumi is a very enjoyable drunk. I'll take more of this anime. |

| The OP is great, fhána is such an great singer since her debut at the summer with Uchoten Kazoku ED I keep hearing her every season and enjoy every song of her. Will watch the episode as the subs will be up, hope to enjoy it like Love Lab or even more, same mangaka by the way. |
| OP and ED are enjoyable. Roommates are weird to the extend that the comedy is not too over. The main guy's love interest is also there. |

| OMG I was laughing throughout the episode, Brain Base execute the comedy parts perfectly XD. The animation and art were vividly appealing, with the OP and ED were pretty amazing. The story and characters were a good start, so I hope it won't ruin some parts throughout its run. |

| Brain Base knocked this out of the park. Excellent animation. This did have a Shinkai-san art feeling to it. After this first episode I am thoroughly stoked to have this one in the line up. Right dose of comedy and the touches of sexy and romance were well integrated. I feel a good sense of balance between the house cast so far. Kawai-san is ridiculously cute. |

| I guess fhana has become a favorite for OPs/EDs recently :) As other have said, the setting definitely reminds me of Sakurasou, or even more so the manga Sprout because it's a bunch of different (quirky) people living in one house. The comedy seems to be a hit or miss for me so far, hopefully I'll find it more humorous later on. I love the colors and the backgrounds though, it has that calm and nostalgic feeling. The character designs are nice, not too generic. I also like the way their eyes sparkles, so pretty. |

| First episode managed to get few chuckles out of me. Gonna watch couple more episodes but if the main character keeps being so misfortunate I'll probably drop the series... |

| That was great! I loved the animation. The characters are all pretty interesting as well. I like how the MC's love interest is a senpai, that just appeals to me. I didn't think this show would focus so much on the comedy at first, but I enjoyed it a lot, especially his roommate and the big oppai lady. I never get tired of hearing Kana Hanazawa, I love her voice. 8/10 for the first episode, and I will definitely keep watching. This show could turn out to surprise this season. |

| the visuals are more a turnoff for me than anything else. seems like purple and pink are the dominating colors in this episode/show..dont really like that. also lightshafts in every second picture. the humor is pretty good..the second half made me laugh a few times + that 1 line from granny. i am not a fan of the whole school slice of life romance setting ( to be honest im tired to death of it since its almost always the same ) but the humor might make this worth watching even for me 3/5 for this episode. right in the middle. |
| 1. Not liking this peaceful vibe that usa gives off. Too calm 2. Feels like Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo, without the drama 3. Meh, grew to like this episode as it went on. Characters & comedy are pretty good. 6/10 |

| That was really enjoyable :) Loving the characters and their designs look really beautiful too. Lol'd at the officer at the start talking about the temptations XD Shiro being a masochist was lol. Ricchan seems pretty cool so far. KanaHana voicing her with the mysterious quite girl voice was nice ^^...seems like she really dislikes guys for now with how serious she takes the girl boundaries. She isn't completely emotionless though which was nice. Seeing her act cutely with Mayumi <3 Mayumi is HOT!! And pretty funny XD And Sumiko is a pretty fun old lady. The way she wanted to act out the Drama moment was lol XD and how she treats Shiro when he wants her to be sadistic is also lol. Well seems like a fun series. Most likely will follow :D |

| The side characters had better overall presentation than the main characters, and even they weren't that impressive. Didn't like the short hair, and kawai as a last name. Bleh Another lame main character.. Overused dumped-over-n-over "adult" character, nice design though Shirosaki looks like Urahara Grandma was funny Humor wasn't special, indifferent ost, the animation/art was nice Definitely not bad though, has potential to be better. But based on what we see lately I doubt it will improve. |

| I really love the art backgrounds/shading and music. Probably being too nit-picky but I noticed a couple shading mistakes like Usa's ear area magically becoming pink at some point or the lighting rays on the characters/background during outside scenes. The piano soundtracks in the beginning are nice. Also that towana/fhána OP. The animations are pretty standard, but there is no doubt they put a lot of money into this first episode. The comedy for me doesn't stick. I feel they try too hard, but that is just this kind of anime. I do enjoy the chemistry with all of the characters although they are cliche. |
