| This series reminds me of Queen's Blade, but with the intensity of Claymore show. So many gals in the OP, it even puts Fairy Tail gals to shame in this department. Aruka so far is boring for me, but she is damn powerful! Will keep following, want to see more development from her. I felt the village chief (young girl) had no right choice, but to sell her village if she did not want any causalities. What a awesome deal... anyways, this episode showed me the true meaning of cannon-fodder! |

| I actually enjoyed this episode quite alot, and not only because of the huge amount of plot, but also because I loved the animations. I'm a sucker for these types of shows.. Fanservice was not annoying or too much, just right. I'd bet my sweet ass that most of the haters on this are girls with biig boobie problems. |

| I watched this episode a week back and forgot to point out two things. 1. I thought that the village chief, Morii's knife-throwing target practice scene was really symbolic. The knife that hit the bulls-eye promptly fell off the target with only the closing of the door represented how weak she was and how little control she truly had over things. 2. When Alka suggested revenge, I thought Morii was going to take revenge on Alka for death and destruction to her village and attack her there and then. Oh well, that could have been interesting. |

| Not sure why they let the messenger go or why she didn't cover her butterfly mark after getting a change of clothes, Also why did the guy suddenly assume she was a part of the enemy just because the messenger called her butterfly. She is strong so why wouldn't she be known to people outside of the Palam Empire? Also wtf did they expect, they should have just sold their land then all the villagers wouldn't have died, Did they really think they would come peacefully after that and let them all live happily? So yeah nice work you lose the village, The villagers and you don't get paid Oh and now the Palam Empire will want to kill you. urgh so dumb, "Get revenge"? More like Get a brain. Also why did she cut her hair? some kind of sign of respect to the village that ended up getting destroyed because of her? |

| That was way too violent, like it was written by a teenager who still thinks that murdering random people is SO BADASS. A bunch of goons get their throats sliced in the first minute, a man tries to loot their weapons and gets vaporized, and a nice village gets introduced only to have its people crushed, shot or burned alive by the end, which was completely pointless, since the main character was already seeking revenge anyways and the other girl doesn't even appear in the next episode (I'm sure she'll come back after gaining some levels). It even has the silent main character who is super strong and doesn't afraid of anything. Other than the violence there's not much to it. It's a clumsy wuxia full of playmates in dumb Korean MMO clothes. Queen's Blade worked because it had enough self-awareness and a good combination of humor and fight scenes. This one isn't fooling anyone trying to look serious, and the nudity is lacking. The women have really beautiful faces, that's all I can really say in its favor. |

| 4/5 The proof of 9, he exceeds even with some problems. What? The usual, or too much in favor of otaku, with obvious consequences and not excellent quality. All in all "maybe" it will be possible to pass the miracle of seeing a decent set, always provided that the plot does not make mistakes. Character design not bad costume design pretty neat and nice, discreet color design. We can not shout masterpiece but the basics to be able to do something good, there are. Characters interesting enough even if they have the usual stereotyped traits. Final vote, for now, of 6/10! |

| The man only has one, extremely small piece of armor, and yet they still manage to shoot it. And then they're too stupid to fire again even though he gives them plenty of time. Its like they were trying to get themselves killed. And leader girl seems to have wanted them to die since she didn't even try to throw a single knife. Also, Alka had to know that would happen and didn't bother to mention it, that makes her just as responsible for what happened as the Empire. But, even if she hadn't mentioned it, they wannabe village leader should have known that refusal = war, and, at the very least, should have evacuated the village. Btw, where are all the soldiers from whatever kingdom already owns that land? Do they not care that their citizens are being slaughtered and robbed? I can't understand the people that give this a 10, or anything above a 6 for that matter. |
| This was even worse than i imagined. The only positive thing i can say was that the female art design was generally good. About half way through the anime i grew extremely annoyed that they had one generic, low quality sword slash sound they used for every sword action. The dialog/writing/story was worse even than what i would expect from a fan service anime. The fighting scenes were generally extremely poorly done as well. Just what is this anime trying to do? It isn't fan service, fighting or story. What is it? |

| Wow that was one badass opening episode. I was hoping for an easy watch, but youre bombed with a lot characters in the first 5minutes and some of them dont have names yet. The animation at certain points is really pretty. and beautiful swordplay But Edo Japan with machine guns? wat? |

| Personally, I found this episode average. I like the art very much, but Aruka's persona and the story with the village just felt too cliched for me. Anyway, this is just the first episode, going to watch more and see where the story goes. |

| Loved the character artwork, it's absolutely awesome and although i know it won't be some crazy awesome show with big plot twist etc i have to say the first episode was quite impressive. | Decent first episode. Better than I expected. The character designs are great. I especially love Alko's eyes. They are so pretty. But why did you cut your hair, girl?! :( Oh well.. You are still gorgeous. |
