Sad taste you have there kid you came up to me in the first place making you look more like a kid who got slapped without me even knowing it and start crying about it to me

Bible black isn't really that great. It was good enough for a nukige; it managed to keep me interested enough to play until the end (a feat that most nukige nowadays seem not capable of doing, admittedly), but when compared to other works...

That being said, I don't really like Otome stuff. It's hard to find good ones, since most of the ones available are usually too cheesy for my tastes, and I can't be bothered to search through for good ones.

My favourite visual novel is probably Clannad though. It's also one of the first major visual novels I read, so recalling memories of reading it also gives me the sweet sense of nostalgia as well.

For now, my favorite is Umineko no Naku Koro ni. I never thought I will ever like vn with no selections then I tried Umineko and it's really really fun.

It is sort of a visual novel, but not quite: Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. It was gruesome and captivating.

The only VN's I've played are from the Fate/ franchise.
But as much as I love the universe, I would be pretty hesitant on recommanding Fate/Stay Night to another fellow lady, since it's so choke-full of sexism (Rin is amazing, tho).

Well I'm not a girl but I think Hoshizora no Memoria is for everyone.
Kickstarter for Rokujouma is fully funded. Good work everyone. Lets wait for the result of our hard work together.

What? The VN is pretty tame in that regard.

You think ? Reread and pay attention. Quite a few things Shirou says/thinks are pretty fucked up, and by that I'm not even referring to the classic 'you can't fight cause your girl'
(
).
I also have a huge problem with the characterization of most of the female chars (except Rin, who's amazing).
But it's still a very good VN, and the Unlimited Blade Works route is made of awesome.

Not sure what to say if you didn't realize how much the game beats Shirou up for that line of thought. Or any of his other flaws, for that matter. But, uh, if you're complaining about characterisation not much I can do to argue against "omg these characters don't fit the stereotypes I want them to so they're so baad". Unless you actively bring up examples, anyway...

Phenomeno I liked from what I played and the art style appealed since I like Yoshitoshi ABe's artwork. VNDB also lists some DS games I've played in their database although they're more like point and click adventure/mystery games such as Hotel Dusk: Room 215 for example.

Phenomeno looks good! :o

Hm, HoshiMemo's common route was very well done, but I didn't really like some of the routes after it branched off. Still, it's not a bad VN by any means.

Why the need to put words in my mouth?
I wrote a long ass post about Saber on the F/SN by ufotable news thread if you're interested, but that's far from being on topic, so I didn't really see the point in bringing that up ?

For the rest of your post, the problem I had with that particular line of thought and a lot of others Shirou had was the fact that the problem that kind of mentality poses was either just played for the laugh (eg. the Ayako bsnss where Rin blackmails him so she that won't speak), or gotten around (the whole Saber/Shirou relationship dynamic in the first 3/4ers of Fate for eg.) or sometimes not adressed at all (when the inner monologue kicks in).
The VN uses other chars to make fun of him at times but on another hand it's not really trying to tell us in what way thinking the way he does is wrong (I don't know about you but the line about Mitsuzuri kinda shocked me, regardless of the blackmail thing that came afterwards).

But again all of this off topic so, you can PM me if you want.

Male here. Please, define "girls". Just kidding. Asking what girls read is like asking what people from Europe read - not very helpful (unless you want statistic)

ps. if you like "crying games" you may try Narcissus 1&2.

Oh right, because people who are part of a certain demographic obviously shares no common traits whatsoever. Totally meaningless.

Also, Narcissu is not a crying game. They're both deeply melancholic and philosophical, but that's it. Still worth reading however, and Haeleth translation is recommended for both games, although both gp32 and Haeleth's translation for the first are quite good.

I bet that lots of people have read Harry Potter's book(s). If Miyakouko doesn't like "fantasy" it won't be helpful for her (unless she want statistics, as I said).

And you are right, it's Utsuge - depressing game (source: vndb.org).
ps. Narcissus 2 contain both versions (1 & 2) if Miyakouko want to download it.

There is a decent amount of all-ages VNs that don't even have romance aspects so yes
