| Was not expecting Asuka to win. Thought it was going to be Sasha Banks. Trish vs Sasha would still be a great match. I thought WWE was going to save this Ronda Rousey thing for television. That really took the wind out of Asuka's sails. |
| That was the most entertaining, best booked Rumble since 2004 (imo), and not just because pf the winner. So many storylines and threads in this match. The pace was perfect too. Can't ask for a better Rumble than this. |
| Overall, I was very entertained this week by wrestling in general. Old school nostalgia, the Bullet Club severe, NXT Takeover, and one of the best Royal Rumble matches (Men's) in recent years. Philly is a great crowd. It's good to be a wrestling fan. |

| Yeah, this was a good PPV. Men's Rumble was compelling, and Nak is a great choice, but he and AJ won't be headlining. Which perhaps is a good thing. Women's Rumble was a bit rough around the edges. Maffew of Botchamania is going to have a ton of material to work with. Title matches were all what they needed to be. Brock looked strong. AJ looked strong. Tag titles are back on the Bar. The only shocker was the Usos sweeping Gable and Benjamin. Back in the old NWA days, getting swept in a 2/3 falls match was a sign of jobber status. |

I don't want Asuka any where near Rousey, because she isn't losing any time soon, and Asuka's streak of dominance needs to continue. I wouldn't be surprised if Ronda plays some kind of enforcement role in the title match at Wrestlemania. Not sure how good she is as an in-ring performer. Not all MMA fighters can make that transition. Just look at Tim Sylvia for proof. The pro wrestling match he had against Josh Barnett was awful. |
| Rousey vs. Charlotte would be the logical first choice. Realistically, I see them sending Asuka after Alexa anyway since they're on the same brand. Same as Shinsuke and AJ. The only difference is Styles v Nakamura is going to be fucking lit. I just see Alexa getting destroyed or retaining on a DQ. |

| Man, it's hard to believe we've been running this thread for 4 years...started right before WM30. I want to say this to everyone. I appreciate all of you guys keeping this thread non-toxic. It's like the lone safe-haven in all of Current Events. I enjoy this hobby that we all share...the regulars who have been here for a while and those of you who've just joined recently.
