| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Damn, this is the finale. The match is pretty awesome and that's a pretty tough knockout. That bleeding eye looks painful just by looking at it. Anyways, I'm going to miss this show. 8/10. This final arc involving the flashbacks was pretty decent. Tears were shed ;_; Bro fist. :p I hope for another season in the future. |

| Honestly I didn't give two shits about the fight, but loved the rest that really made me tear up when he broke his fists on some Ippo shit and man... For now I hope they come out with a movie next... When the next season comes I'm going to try and wait for it to air completely. Kamogawa is amazing gonna add him as one of my fav characters now |

| I felt like I was watching a movie at a black movie theater based on how loud I was yelling. That first body blow was absolutely insane and then he comes in with another freaking rib shattering Ippo right. It was a very emotional episode and that was like the 3rd best knockout of the whole entire series. Awesome ep, 9/10 this season for me, fingers crossed for a new season guys! ( and gals, if any watch this series :p) |

| All" loved it" votes for this ep and all very deserved. This was the best ep for this third season, and I definitely got teary at the end there. This is easily the best sports anime series of all time. |
| This whole arc has been pretty intense, but the back to back body blows and the emotional high of the epilogue were the icing on the cake. Not sure if this tops the first season, because that has the advantage of having three times as many episodes, but I'm definitely feeling this one over the second season. 9/10 |

| Wow. I'm happy to see people loved this episode and season in general. Personally I didn't enjoy it as much cause i have read the manga already. But still I am 100% sure that I would be just as excited ,if not more, if I watched it without knowing. It was a good season overall 8/10 for me. I hope they keep it up with the season i don't think i ever got bored reading the manga so i think they have enough good material to make more enjoyable season. PS>Kamogawa and Nekota were beasts xD |

| OMG Jesus Christ son that was awful the view from inside of that dudes body as he was getting punched ughhhhhhhh shit. That animation was scary if my grandmother watched this she would probably faint. Kamogawa is too hard on himself though, I wouldn't have rejected Yuki. Lol @ Aoki praying "The coach and Nekota will be joining you soon". Way to ruin a touchy moment you moron. |

| It's sad to think that it'll probably take ages for a 4th season, if we'll ever get one that is, but this was at least a good final arc to conclude Rising. The highlight of this third season has been the Aoki title match for me, it was simply hilarious. Takamura's fight against Eagle and Ippo's one vs Sawamura were exciting as well, but overall I still preferred New Challenger over Rising because of the comedy. 8/10 Anyway, this has been such a nice ride that now I'm seriously considering to start reading the manga. |

| Damn the animation at the end if the fight was amazing. Seriously, they did better than I could have hoped with this arc. In general, this season was amazing. Even though they cut out a few parts I would have liked to see animated, the soundtrack and pacing and interesting fights far surpass NC. I think the only other disappointment in this series is Takamura's fight. So boring. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for another season. | I have mix feelings to this season, a lot of stuff was skipped at first and the quality at the first half of the series was kinda awful, the second half was way better in terms of quality and story and they even returned the flashback at the end of the series, that chronological happens after the first fight in this season (as far as I remember from the manga). Looking forward for season 4 no matter how many years will pass, I'll keep waiting. |
| Oh man, the dedication for Utsumi and Nagai. The fights weren't the best this time round, but Aoki's antics were amazing, and then we closed with the past arc which was brilliant. Hajime no Ippo, going strong. Until next time. |

| The intensity of Kamogawa's fight is only rivaled by Takamura's match with Hawk and Ippo's fight with Sawamura. I've never seen such determination in a fight since then. This season was simply amazing, in terms of both fights, as well as story-line. If the season ended with the train passing off into the sunset, it would have been just as great. But having it end with Yuki was pure amazing. Really enjoyed how the last two episodes transitioned from a brutal fight to a mellow, feel-good ending. It shows just how well-rounded Hajime no Ippo is. For this season, I'd have to rank the fights as: Ippo vs. Sawamura Kamogawa vs. Anderson Takamura vs. Eagle Ippo vs. Shimabukuro Kimura vs. Eleki Aoki vs. Papaya Miyata vs. Medgern I wish the Miyata fight was a bit more serious. He's one of my more favored characters. |

| that was hands down the best arc in the entire series for me, i got really misty eyed throughout all of it definitely my favorite season of this series yet, from weight of my pride making both major fights reach a new level of epicness, to the always fantastic comedy, and to this powerful final arc its definetly a strong 9/10 from me |
