They live on a flat world?
Some things about this episode felt forced.

Lol, did anyone else notice that commander's face when they saw the end of the sky?
Pretty much my reaction when I realized all of this was to destroy a rock.

WTF moment when I realized all this time they were talking about a LITERAL end of the sky. This kind of ruined it for me. I feel like I got kicked in the balls when I realized the world is flat >_>
Lol yep, I wasn't expecting them to actually find an "end". Maybe there's actually something beyond that, and it's just some kind of force-field/portal... otherwise that's kind of anticlimactic imo.

So what was the point of the entire journey that took countless lives? Just to see a big rock diappear into a flash of light? :P
This. The entire time they're acting like they regret having to send the students out and everything else... but in the end there wasn't really much point. I guess it's because of their religion/beliefs, but it's not really like anyone could've stopped the island, why the hell did they have to escort it to the bitter end? They could've all stayed at home and lived happily ever after. I guess it was a volunteer operation but still rather redundant.

I wonder if floating islands were common in their world. I mean a floating island is involved in the Sky Clan's prophecy, I wonder if they ever thought "this might be it!" and not go to war?
Yeah, good point lol, it's hard to imagine what went through their minds.

It also baffles me why people never watch pass the credit. There's still one more episode left.
Nah, I think it's more just confusion, because MAL originally said there was going to be 12 episodes, so everyone thought it was the case. It's less a lack of paying attention than it is surprise, as we were under the impression that it would only be 12.

Yeah only in this case hundreds of people are sacrificing themselves so that a few people will be able to see such a phenomenon. Why couldn't they have just built some kind of underground shelter on the island, and then when the time came just fly out of there and go home. Then they could just fly around the Holy Spring safely and return home. Zero casualties. Everyone's saw the end of the sky. Everyone's happy.

Too bad, another script already seen and reviewed in the past and even here, in the relationship between the three protagonists, in which the fool of Kal, no exceptions and does not understand how he feels his sister; but Ari is the usual girl who let it go without saying a single word, what a disappointment you are! D:
For the rest, pseudo-wrenching scene, which made me smile from the usual childish boys, he runs and who wants to do who knows what and who listens to her all joyous as well ... that stuff guys! ^ ^ "
Drawing as usual insufficient, see if the finale gets up again this anime! ^ _ ^

The love explosion in Kal's face was so amaxing and Claire's response so dissapointing, I guess it happens a lot, it¿s happened to me, and i know how Kal must feel :(
But Claire¿s selflesness is amazing, I could have resolved to go with her as her man haha if they even stopped attacking and they are breaking their traditions to get the Messiah girl, they probably wont put any ressistance
The last part made me remember Tsuioku movie, when he throws gold in the air and it looks like a golden rain

!!!! So the whole point of coming this far was to drop the island off and see the Aurora lights?! Wasn't the island headed there anyway. They came all this was to make sure that the legend was true?? !!!! I don't understand why that was so high on the priority list. I needed those lights to be magic or something. Regrow some limbs and bring back the dead. Something. And I'm praying for Claire's safety. Like what if she gets to the Sky Clan and they realize she's not they're lord and savior?? All the aahhs when Igna called Kal his stupid older brother :) It was too cute. But seriously, what was the point of the mission?? Also I KNEW that Ari had a thing for Kal. That part where they didn't show her eyes and she ran away calling her a dummy was because she fell for him. Let's go episode 13. D= Wait, I just realized I'm not ready. There's gonna be a bunch of families whose children aren't coming home :((((((( Here it goes

What was the point of being on that island again?
I need to go back in time to the first episode again.

I really hope the final episode doesn't turn me into a crying mess.
The "baka aniki" part ruined me.
And Igna finally got to finish his sentence at the end. :'(

Oh the uncalled Claire x Kal drama, the second part was much better though. Wonder what was wrong with Ari.

So they went to the End of Sky to confirm it exists, and have their Isla destroyed. Well that's one messed up gain. They sacrificed so many people when the Sky Clan could have just asked for Nina Viento for a truce.

Pretty bad ending for Kal. Reunites with Claire, no final kiss, and then she leaves, but not before he tells her he will find the Sky Clan and bring her back.

Igna leaves as well and calls Kal brother.

Ari acted strangely in the swing scene, she probably loves Kal not as a brother but as a lover. They aren't blood related so why not.

Second last episode, let's insert "Ari likes Karl". Genius writer. Why does it even matter? -.-

Wasn't it obvious since the start that she liked him?

After rewatching the whole anime:

No, it was not. There was no scene between the male MC and Airi that made it feel "romantic". That was just the writers trying to make the male MC look like a stud.

I have never been more confused about a chick liking a guy in an anime since Digimon season 2 when Sora decided to date Yamato and not Tai (im still very bitter about that one).

Uhhh what? So just to make sure I'm getting all this, the Sky Clan has always believed that "She who calls the wind" would arrive on a floating island, just like Isla? But then why did they decide to attack... They could've easily killed her! If anything they almost did these past few episodes. In the last episode one of their planes was about to crash into her...

And just as a side note, I really don't care for the romance in this show lol like I think if they decided to cut out the romance and just have it be more about the adventure and the world it would be a lot more interesting. On that note, this show really could've used more episodes. Like Isla disappearing into the End of the Sky is suppose to be really impactful, but I just don't feel it. It would have been more impactful if this series was longer and had given us more time to grow attached to both the island and the characters, but it just kinda falls flat at least imo

One more episode left though, let's see where this goes from here
