| Game maker Nitro+CHiRAL has announced that its 2012 BL visual novel series DRAMAtical Murder (DMMd) will be adapted into a TV anime series and will air Summer 2014. Synopsis The story takes place many years in the future where the game "Rhyme," a virtual fighting game, is incredibly popular and people possess "AllMates," convenient AI computers. Aoba leads an ordinary life, working at a junk shop and living with his grandmother on the island of Midorijima. Unlike his friends, he doesn't participate in Rhyme, nor does he belong in a gang. | Really on the fence about this. I heard about the possibility of an anime a while ago and now its official. I guess I'm happy because I really enjoyed DMMd but on the other hand BL anime tends to be big, huge flops. I would say don't expect to see any BL elements in it to anyone who plans to watch, probably just hints. It'll probably follow the Ren route and the story will probably be rushed. But I'm hoping I'll be proved wrong but I highly doubt it. I'll still watch it, I'm sure some parts will still be enjoyable, but I'm expect Toaginu no Chi part 2. |

There's porn but it's not integral to the plot. Idc if they include it or not as long as they don't fuck up. And I have a feeling that they will. Which worries me. DMmd would be hard to adapt. Ugh idk how to feel about this at all. If it does badly the franchise will get a bad name and that makes me sad. This game is honestly one of my favourites, a very well made game. Anyways, any porn will probably toned down to kissing. If not removed completely since that's what they did with TnC anyways. I want to be excited but I'm more worried than anything. |
| Really hope it will end up being less Togainu no Chi, where you basically have several episodes of characters rubbing each other the wrong way, tossing out a bunch of crass gimmmicks, things explode, but very little gets done. And more Uraboku, that has lots of cool actions, interesting characters, and above everything else more straightforward plot, because this kind of show are usually aimed only at the gamers, leaving anime-only watchers like me confused. |
