Who is your favorite lead character in a Miyazaki film ?

| Ashitaka all the way! As far as the deep themes of a Miyazaki film go, he totally fits the leading male role. Howl is pretty smexy though after he switches back to his dark hair... :3 |

| i jus thought kiki was sooo adorable and such a great character...i think she was more complex than the others. howl was ok but didnt captivate me as much. |

| My favorite male is Porco/Marco. I loved his constant coolness. He didn't really get upset about much, and the way he interacted with Fio was great. I'm a sucker for guys who fly planes. My favorite female is Nausicaa. She was just all-around awesome, but still had a sweet side. |

| So difficult to answer this poll since most of Miyazaki's characters are more likeable, I ended voting for Marco but a close one was Sophie, i think she has a stronger personality than Nausicaä or San. |

| My favourite female lead would be Nausicaa, and as male lead, I hesitated a lot but I'll choose Sousuke from Ponyo ^^ (if not it would have been Haku) And so ... Ponyo and Sousuke must be added to the list :) |

| Nausicaa, most definitely, although I'm thinking of the manga more than the film. I found it pretty rightful that the Worm Handlers worshipped her as a god later in the story. She's quite deserving of it. Her love and respect towards life is amazing. |
