| You know who Simon reminds me off? Haruyuki Arita from Accel World. It's the same thing with those two - both are really shy and unaware of their own abilities and they also look kind of similar. Now about the episode: A new villain appeared, thinking the 'brothers' were weak, but after the two finally combined their mecha, they showed him! Amazing episode, my favourite yet!  |

| Best episode so far. The Gattai scene was so manly and it was awesome seeing Kamina steal the helmet/crest from Viral's Enki. |

| Amazing episode, Imaishi delivers as always. Simon finally got in the robot! I died when Kamina started his "Muda muda muda" speech, it was epic and hilarious at the same time I also noticed that these giant faces of Gunmen resemble samurai war masks (sōmen). Same goes for Gurren Lagann's new helmet, which looks like Japanese kabuto. Well, I guess the whole design was inspired by samurai armor. Interesting detail. |

| Cool! That beastmen genaral looked so formidable, but Kamina and Simon managed to combine and beat him. Gurren and Lagann are supposed to combine. Finally, Kamina, Simon, Yoko and Leeron go on a journey to the enemy headquarter. |

| I had seen that Kamina sword scene in one of those sakuga clips compilation or something and it was amazing. Yoko x Kamina ship came out of nowhere but I honestly can't blame her, I'd fall for Kamina too lol (≧▽≦). That scene when they tried to combine was funny af. I love Kamina! 4/5 |

| Kamina's just casually getting the bag while shitting on the girl. What a man that he is! Anyway, an awesome episode. The fusing was just incredibly well done and everything was hyped as fuck. |

| This anime reminded me bastard!! with it's level of ridiculousness and their mcs (kamina and darsh) are similar as well. However this anime is more serious and is not a parody(as i have seen so far) I liked bastard because it is focused on parody and comedy. Therefore i don't know if i can finish this or not but i will give it a chance with 3 more episodes. |

| This episode was so funny with a great fight scene it’s certainly getting better and better the more I watch it. Simon and Kamina combined their mechas in this to become Gurren Lagaan. Even Yoko accepted Simon at the end which was lovely. So far it doesn’t feel like it’s being dragged out and certainly there is no dull moments in it that I’m aware of. I think I’ve definitely got a winner here when it comes to the anime in general. It just feels so right, so right in what it does, the action, the visuals, Kamina just again being awesome is definitely the reason why I’m sticking to this to the very end. |
