Okay guys,

I started to watch eureka seven and im alredy on episode 14. I really loved it till now, but then i have read on several forums that the ending sucks. I mean, i know that they get together at the end and even kiss, but i really want a happy ending that doesnt makes me rage after 50 episodes. So, im asking you, is it worth continouing or will i be going to rage? Also, here another question. Does Renton get some *WOW* effects sometime in the anime? Like he maybe drves the robot and kills everyone or something like that?

Thanks guys :)

Why the fuck do you even try to know about the ending before watching it?
On topic, yes..
Try to refrain yourself from spoilerific discussions and just watch the damn thing.

Eureka 7 is the kind of show that garners diverse opinion. How about trying to make up your own mind?

As you maybe have seen from other posts of mine, i dont care of spoilers, because, i will be more saddned if a great anime finnishes bad. So i just watch how it ends. I mean, i have to watch the whole anime anyways, and it gives me comfort whenever they fight or something that they will get together anyways. Maybe im oversensibel? Who knows. Also, you say it's worth, that means, the ending isnt that bad?

I don't think you should let my opinion, sway your judgment though. If you like what you saw so far, you should continue and make your own, then decide whether to drop it or not. This might become your favorite anime, who knows. The ending is happy, although I felt it was incredibly cheesy.

Also, only 1 opinion wont stop me from watching it, neither will it convince me to continoue it. That's why i want more than one opinion.

on any watch through, episodes 1-29 or thereabouts have always been less interesting than 30 and onwards.

It's very good and listening to what others say on these kind of shows is useless because the plot is very subtle, if you focus on superficial details like "OMG THE CHARACTERS AREN'T PERFECT 0/10" well sure you won't enjoy it. Honestly you might as well forget about the series for a couple months and watch it again because looking for when "shit gets real" while watching this series isn't the right mindset, it's all about the slower pace, getting to know the characters and DETAILS in the story and setting or the twists near the end will make zero sense to you

honestly i thought around episode 25 and up is where it got really interesting since it started handling more complex and darker themes about war and killing as well as excellently developing renton to the character he is by the end of the series, that whole section with rei and charles was easily the highlight of the series for me and has one of the most memorable scenes in a anime series for me by the end of that specific arc. I generally think the series was only a couple steps away from getting a 10/10 from me, its a phenomenal show

Sad taste you have there kid you came up to me in the first place making you look more like a kid who got slapped without me even knowing it and start crying about it to me

Eureka Seven is definitely worth watching. In fact, I might rewatch it soon since it's been a long time since I first watched it.
As for Eureka Seven AO, it does not exist. I didn't watch it and still know about the shit it gets.

It's pretty good in terms of mecha anime, in my opinion. The main character though can be extremely annoying to watch for me however.

It's a decent watch but I wouldn't rewatch it. Renton is another wimpy MC but no where as bad as Shinji from Eva. I really like the concept of the show; aerial surfing o_O. The first opening song was very memorable as well.

One of my top five anime on my profile! I watched the first half of it a very long time ago when it was airing on cartoon network (2005 or 2006?) , then bought some DVDs of it to watch the 2nd half of the series. I just remember it being very entertaining, I liked the characters and the Gekkostate atmosphere, the beautiful bones artwork and animation, story was good enough that I kept wanting to know more about coralians and the backstory, some well executed dramatic moments, VERY good opening and ending songs across the board. I remember it being one of the first anime that I felt like I loved, after the toonami golden age (dbz, gundam wing, outlaw star particularly for me) was done with and I just watched anime late nights on weekends on TV, besides the original FMA.

Yeah Bphantom, what you are doing is probably a good idea. You seemed to initially be conflicted as to whether or not to watch it, but the best way to know if you want to finish it is just to watch a bit more of it. Like some people have said before me, opinions about this anime seem very devided when you ask people about it in this way.

There is a sequel of sorts called Eureka Seven AO. Most people don't like that series much (Including me!). I advise you to just watch the original series, only watch AO if you are a hardcore Eureka Seven fanboy and you want a little bit of fanservice from original series. As a series on its own, its failed many people's expectations by a large margin.

My rec: Suspend your disbelief for matters of character until the end. It will make more sense later why some characters are so messed up. Some have unexpected baggage. Also the pacing changes a bit each season.

I marathon-ed E7. Despite some serious faults that had me considering dropping this in the teen episodes, this is one of my faves. Remember Eureka isn't "normal" and her life experience is unique, so don't expect her to deal with or even realize certain feelings normally (is foreshadowing a spoiler?).

The most difficult aspects of this show are 1.) Renton is annoying and 2.) many of the character quirks don't make sense until the last few episodes. The premise is established very quickly through indirect references, so stay tuned to all "meaningless" dialogue in the first episodes between supporting characters. There's lots of foreshadowing, some questions posed that aren't addressed for dozens of episodes... etc.

From what I understand from laughmore, this show confuses you on purpose
just to answer in the eps 40 or so? never had that in mind.
I barely watched 30 eps.
