| Could a moderator please change the chapters for this? I've tried submitting the number it apparently has several times, but it doesn't get accepted. I believe the number of chapters should be eighty six as it's how it's listed on several sites and manga updates. Thank you. |

| You are confused, because scanlators just made up that chapter count what suited them better. There is no official chapter count in the books that can be used (no toc), so instead times of appearance in magazine are used. Zankoku na Kami appeared 6 times a year, so it's impossible to be 84 chapters, even if there was table of contents. And this is how distribution of 'chapters' look for each volume: |
| I've tried to do this many times too and requested it. It is complete at 86 chapters. That is per the scanners, please change it. Even at 86 chapters each chapter is like 40+ pages. It's not like we are talking shounen length chapters here. And this is what it shows on mangaupdates etc too. It's 86 chapters. Just because someone else put that 55 chapters in an information spot doesn't make that right either, I get your explanation, but it still does not seem right for it to be like that you are talking chapter lengths of over 100 pages each. |

| You want me to lie along with the scanlators?o/ The chapter count won't be changed for such trifle reasons like "because scanlators said so," now that it's correct and they got it wrong. Each book has around 189~203 pages in length, so even if there are 3 chapter per book, it's... like ~63.33 pages per chapter... I don't know where did you get "100 pages each," but I wouldn't find it surprising if page count per chapter exceeded 100 pages... (If you can prove the current count is incorrect, without referring to "scanlations," then please do so...) |
