| So eventually I plan to get around to reading the Magi manga, but there's also the prequel manga, Sinbad no Bouken - Prototype. Well actually there's two, there's also just Sinbad no Bouken. I've seen up to around chapter 20 of Sinbad no Bouken - Prototype, but according to the MAL Manga DB, there is only one chapter and one colume of Sinbad no Bouken - Prototype, but many more chapters/volumes of Sinbad no Bouken (as it's still publishing and - Prototype is finished). So I was just wondering if I could get a bit of clarity on the subject, and whether or not this needs to be moved to the Manga DB sub-forum. |

| Let me guess, you're reading on sites like Mangafox or Mangareader right? Well stop reading on those and go directly on the scanlator's site or Batoto. The Prototype is the oneshot and the Sinbad no Bouken is the actual serialization. Obviously the oneshot came out first and was called Prototype. Those sites didn't bother to fix the title when the serialization started and still continued to call SnB to be Prototype and place new chapters under that title when it's wrong. Bottom line, MF and MR sucks. Stop reading on those sites at all and go to Batoto. MAL is correct that Prototype is just one chapter and the SnB page is ongoing. |
