GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka
| Ok i'd like to know if if this series is still funny, im pushing myself with watching something this old and i dont really want to do that for nothing. I'd appreciate it if you could look at my list and tell me by going on what i rated good if i would like this. http://myanimelist.net/animelist/Josh15 Animes noted that i truly found funny were : - Angel beats - Monogatari series - Fairy tail - kokoro connect - sakurasou no pet na kanojo - soul eater - Familiar of zero This is just an idea of what i find funny if that helps |

| i first watched GTO ages ago and even then i knew the art was CRAP! (but often very funny) just watch the damn show, its so good, its SO funny, and its actually rewarding |
| It's legendary. Onizuka is a bro among bro. Watch it. I think that the first episode (it's double length) will give you enough of a feel for if you'll like it or not. |

| GTO is bat shit hilarious, you don't know funny until you've seen it (even more so in Gintama's case as well, which I also highly suggest). That aside, I find it really unfortunate when I see threads (and not just threads, but comments in general as well) like these that suggest everything that is animated in cel is inferior to series that are computer animated, I just find it sad because people with that mindset miss out on incredible viewing experiences because of it. You want to know old, try watching this, which is something I'm watching currently. Cel animation was generally perfected around the late 90s/early 2000s (around the period GTO was produced), and in comparison to most things GTO is not that bad. I'm not saying this to antagonize you or anything, I'm saying this because I really don't think you should let something from the 90s or even the 80s deter you from watching just because there's a little age. Age doesn't determine good content. |

| I would suggest reading the manga over the anime, the many is leagues better than the anime, but both are great, and among my top 5 |
