| Here is an unusual one I haven't seen in your list. Malice@Doll. It's about a sex robot in a strange dark city devoid of humans. It's a surreal eerie short story that done in CG in the late 90's. P.S. It's not porno! |
| I would like to suggest "663114" by Isamu Hirabayashi. It is a short animation that deals with catastrophes like Hiroshima and Fukushima. If anyone is going to watch it, make sure to read/skim through Ridojiri's review (at some point) to better understand the story. It is slow, dark but beautiful. |

| I mentioned this in the Comments below but I loved this anime so much. Oruchuban Ebichu (Ebichu, The Housekeeping Hamster) - A gag anime about a talking cute little Hamster that does house chores for her master, a 25 yr old Office Lady who has a cheating worthless boyfriend. Ebichu loves her master and will do anything to keep her happy, but often incurs her wrath and is beaten bloody for it. But Ebichu always remains cheerful and upbeat. It is violent, and outrageously obscene but oh so adorable and funny. Not for the kiddies. Great translation notes at the beginning of the episodes. Give it a watch, it has my seal of approval. |
| I reccomend Getter Robo, haven't watch the anime but I think it's just generic mecha, while the manga is just what you're searching for |
