| I was very diappointed by the animation. It was less detailed, so I expected at least a little improve of fluidity, but... So many awkward faces >.< The content was interesting, I loved to see Acacia, Midora, Setsuno and co together. This is the first time a villian in Toriko has a background story and a connection to history. Will be fun to see how the anime will end and then to read the manga :) |

| Honestly, the fight animation was the only crap thing for this ep. The transition to the alternate ending is OK, i.e. the anime was more of mainstream shounen (emphasizing friendship/teamwork, not as gory), so ending it that way would be fine; although I hope they don't beat up Joa... maybe driving her away or something like that would make the power levels be consistent somehow. |

| I do feel bad for Midora but it is still upsetting to see him turn around and do something like this. This coming from someone who generally like villains. xD; The entire time he was attacking with his tongue I was thinking about all the gross things he could accidentally be tasting. But since when have any character not been off-putting, haha. |

| I still don't mind all the changes, I'll just go with it. I liked the episode, not bad. Only thing I wish for is better animation, but apparently the animation quality for future episodes depended on how well the 2013 movie would do... and it bombed hard, so it's no surprise the animation is pretty bad. |
| The flashback part was faithful... but hell the anime is so ruined with the animation turning crap. They didn't even show Minority World. Argh. They should have just adapted it properly where it ends... well the manga readers know before the timeskip. |

| Normally I don't complain about animation, but honestly that was the worst animated Toriko episode of the entire anime... The second the episode started I was itching to just close the browser. Well it's ending soon anyway might as well finish it. |
