After releasing some Japanese pop rock song covers in 2008, Andrew W.K. was contacted by the owners of the Gundam franchise, Sunrise Inc. where they wanted him to produce and record rock interpretations of classical Gundam songs. The tracklisting for the album being released in September in Japan is this: 01. TV Series Opening Narration 02. Gundam On The Earth 03. Fly, Gundam 04. Char The Great 05. Here Comes Char 06. This will be quite interesting to hear actually. At first when reading the title, i thought it was going to be a collection of OP and ED's, though going with the score for the original series makes this all the more interesting. Can't wait for the end result. |

Looks like the recessions hitting pretty hard for Sunrise to ask a no-talent ass hat like AWK instead of someone who can actually turn a decent tune. Rammstien would be top of my list to do this project. |

Has anyone else here besides Dethbryte actually listened to it? I don't even like Andrew WK but I liked this album. His version of Soldiers of Sorrow is badass. Also he rocked the hell out of Amuro Forever. |
