It was pretty good. I knew beforeheand that it wasn't centered around the main characters, and though I miss them it was a a very good episode.

The reason of the existence of this OVA was because the staff didn't want to put this story in the middle of the previous season where it belonged, as it was in the manga, so it worked better this way I guess.

The bath and the ending scene were awesome. Overall a very funny OVA, even if the story was not that great. It's good to see Nodame and Chiaki again, and I'm waiting for the 3rd season like never before (Gurren Lagann's Kazuki Nakagawa as main scriptwriter is ABSOLUTE EPIC WIN, it will surely be one of the best series of the decade, no doubt).

What happend to Chiaki's Dad?? I remember late in season 2 about not coming back from Xmas day, is he dead or just gone

Love the bathroom scene!! Stop using my bathtub LOL

Second. That scene was so random and stupid, I was rolling my eyes just at how banal it was.

The only genuinely entertaining part about this was Nodame's "Lock-on" retort.

I liked how they showed Mine and Masumi, I missed those guys.


Are Matsuda and Takahashi previously shown characters? I don't remember them.

this was a great reminder to me of how much I love nodame cantabile. I laughed so much during this ova!! it was very well done imo. I'm so glad they made this ova to include the bathtub scene. I remember reading it in the manga and was so happy when I realized it was happening in the ova!
