Remember that she was viewing a Ghostscript. This means that the town she was in was a HUGE, and absolutely perfect "back-up" of the city six years ago. None of what happened was "real". Again, here's me theorizing: The "Christmas Shopper" code was screwing with some of Misa's present day codes, so she wanted to check on the code in the past. In the Ghostscript of the past world, the Christmas Shopper code was the cause of the manifestation of Guibarthez's ghostscript from the sword. This can be inferred from the fact that when Guibarthez is defeated by Koyomi and Koyomi goes back to the present, Misa says that there are no more problems being caused by the Christmas Shopper, even though Koyomi didn't absorb the Christmas Shopper code the way that Misa in the past had intended for her to do (the thing that looked like a scale). The only thing that causes my logic not to hold together is the fact that Koyomi was supposed to be turning Guibarthez's newly acquired Sorceress' Library into a pan, and not the code that made up Guibarthez. Of course, it's possible that since Guibarthez is a Ghostscript being manifested due to the Christmas Shopper, Koyomi just turned what she THOUGHT was the Sorceress' Library into a pan when actually she grabbed the Ghostscript code. |

| I'm confused. >_> I have not been paying much attention to the series since it's not very interesting. (I'm only watching for Misa-chan and the evil guy seems like he'll make stuff interesting.) Is she going back to the future? |

| Finally defeated Gibaltes. By two kids. I think Koyomi really traveled to the future. I mean, she went back to the present wihout Misa summoning her and how Yumiko is eating burgers without a fork and knife. |
| A little confusing, but oh well. It was still a nice and touching episode. Poor Katamari got kicked by that idiot. |
