okay now that i got more used to it here is what i miss the most, and why it still feels in some ways like a downgrade
>the # column
>the other panels on the left, especially the statistics panel and group view
>clicking on the anime title to jump to the MAL page
>quick page jumps, such as from first to last

Agree that it feels like a downgrade, much less user-friendly and more ugly UI, plus now you can't get direct links to MAL by clicking on the title. PLEASE bring back test.animeadvice.me, it was already perfect, no need to make a whole new UI and everything. I used it to make lists of top OPs/EDs in the past but now the new update breaks my workflow.

Also, there is a whole lot of data missing from the site, I tried to search for all shows that started in 2015 and it stopped at March.

EDIT: I found the problem. What I did is had the "Aired From" date set from {blank} to {Jan 1, 2016}. And I had the "Aired To" date set from {Jan 1, 2015} to {blank}. I did this so I could find every show that aired at least one episode some time in 2015. However, if an anime did not have a confirmed starting/ending date (such as the shows that just started this season or next season's shows), then setting any dates in the "Aired From" and "Aired To" fields would cause those shows not to appear. If this problem could be fixed, my workflow would not be 100% fixed but it would help immensely. Thank you if you fix this.

What versions of MongoDB, Python and Django do I need to have?
(oh, that's why there is `requerments.txt` :D )

Also, am I correct about how it works?
-maspy is package which I can install and later use from cmd like 'maspy --manga $min_parsing_id $max_parsing_id', which saves its result to MongoDB.
-djangan is Django project which needs path to MongoDB to run its content.

Also if MAL updates its html, I'll need to refactor maspy only (if no change in prev. fields occured)?

p.s. Is it okay that in `djangandjangan` there is no `settings.py`? I worked with Django a little so can't be sure.

Yes, in djangan you must change djangan/settings/production.py - set host, mongo and posgresql.

Also you must start scripts for prepare data:
mongo 'mongodb_name' < djangan/libs/createIndexes.js - create indexes in MongoDb
djangan/libs/anime_count.py - set additional unique id for anime
djangan/libs/quick_anime_group.py - set groups by sequel, prequel, etc
djangan/libs/count_additive_collections - set %drops and etc

Yes, you will need change maspy/animespider/anime_parser.py only
Selectors looks like this:

Seems like the main problem is not to run it, but not to get bunned from MAL for loading all existing anime/manga pages ;( Wonder why it doesn't have any API for such things.

Nop, it is not a main problem.
They had Incapsula guard before(even official malapi(facepalm)). Take data was much harder.
Now, i think, they not bunned or limited request for /anime or /manga urls.

There's an API but it lacks a lot of information sadly.

Sorry for misleading and inspiring. I'm not a backender so I have got little knowledge about how to run own server (and I'm also not into its technology). So all I did is making it able to run for myself.

Some suggestions then.
Like the previous site had, I think it'd be better to let people write the numbers, as well as lower minimum for others. Like "Scores count" has 1,000 to 800,000, scroll bar is too tiny to be accurate at lower numbers and 1,000 is a bit too big for minimum (best would be just 1 or 10 for minimum really).
"Id" is also too small at 90,000, Manga has more than 104,296 ids.
Also, "OrNull" is maybe a bit confusing. "None" would be a better string for that.
And maybe an extra "Exclude all" check would be nice too, otherwise we have to enter all the conditions (in "UserStatus" you have to put Watching/Reading, Completed, etc) and then Exclude).
I think the previous site also had string search? Like you could search synopsis, that was good too.
A bug I noticed is that manga says "Watching" on the list but no big deal there.

Oh and a "reset all" button would be nice too, I think I broke it (search is all random and I can't put it back to normal even turning all options off and setting all columns to default) with so much messing around. If you keep pressing "Set" on MAL User Scores it just keeps adding. xD
Couldn't fix by clearing cache so reset button is big necessity I think.
And after adding many empty users my search is just completely empty, can't do anything. D:
I guess opening in incognito works for now. :P

in browser console, while i not adding button.

Whoa, it took me a while to realize anime advice revived

The thing i miss the most atm is the write-in numbers, particularly for scores; the default 1000+ excludes too much, but i cant get it lower except for 1+ which includes too much.

Also information for new shows is really out of date
