| *signs* Didn't know this topic existed haha I watched them all in one day like over 2 years ago with the sole purpose of paying close attention to the changes in outfits and stuff. Can't find an explanation yet. But Haruhi is one of my favorite anime and manga so I had to do it. |
| *signs* The first 6 episodes of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is one of my favourite anime plot arcs. 'The Endless Eight' isn't. It was more to be endured than it was to be savoured or rewatched. |

| Only once. Without knowing that it would be pretty much the same stuff for at least 5 of the episodes. My sister and I were losing it like Kyon was losing it at the end of each episode. After that first time, I just watch the first two and the last in the series. |

| I loved watching it and the ending make everything worth it ^w^ Re watching the last episode again after an exam gives you that nostalgia feeling especially through that ending :3 I love this anime endlessly much <3, impossible for me to hate it >w< That face though X3 |

| I did it on one night! It wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be, I even chuckled about Kyon's comments multiple times. I was super tired after that though and my head hurt so I finished the Sigh of Suzumiya Haruhi arc this morning ^_^ |

| Watched all the 8 episodes today: it wasn't particularly tiring. The end made a lot of sense and was a great payoff, so that means that I actually liked it. Maybe a little less episodes would've been fine as well, but it wouldn't make the same impact in the end, so it made sense to choose this way. |

| God i finished it I watched episode 1 to 3 then skipped to 8 then watched the remaining eps Thank god i didn't finished it to the end without skipping it cause i would literally rage-quit. The answer to stop the loop was so simple i couldn't XD But one thing i would like to point out here is the most memorable line in the entire arc: Kyon-kun denwa!!!!!! |

| Just finished. I had to watch the last 2 episodes raw since Funimation's fucking retarded video player wouldn't show the subtitles and I'm too OCD to watch some in English and some in Japanese. It wasn't that bad. Every time I finished an episode, I was surprised it was already ending. Not sure if I would sit through all that on a rewatch, but I had to do it once. And seriously, fuck Funimation. Always has been a terrible company, always will be, unless you really love mediocre dubs where all the characters sound like Hiro from Shin Chan. I'm cancelling my subscription. |

| I watched two episodes per day and still that was a torture. I don't recommend to watch this bullshit in one sitting it's really depressing and physically painful. |

| Whatever the watch order this anime has no plot. Medicore at best. I spare it and give 5/10 instead of well deserved 3-4/10, because i've seen worse shows. If this doesn't improve I might drop rating to 4. This 8 episodes are 28.5% of both seasons which is more than quarter. It's way too dragged on and serves no actual purpose other than trying to be "unique". 3-4 episodes would've been enough, showing different outcomes and "instant flashing" shit that remained almost exactly same every time (example: Alpha happened 10 times in row but following Alpha, each time there was 2x Bravo, 3x Charlie, 4x Delta and 1x Echo. Instead of showing Alpha 10 times, you can show ir once because it's same, then show Echo and Bravo once and Charlie and Delta twice cause two mentioned latest happened most so it can make some sense). This show is overrated, shouldn't be more than 7.1/10 based on MAL standards. Art is bad, music is average, characters are medicore at best, plot doesn't exists, setting is you guessed it, Japan because they can't think of any other place, it's center of the world according to most anime and manga. Concept is cool but that's it. Nothing special here. There are shows that lack good plot and unique characters but are good because of fine art, character design, setting and action/music, but this one... *Sigh* |

I've seen shows, movies and novels that handle time loops far better than this one. From non-anime ones, try Doctor Who's episode "Heaven Sent". Also watch Edge of Tomorrow to see how repetitive scenes are handled, or read its source material. Problem with this one is: We already know same shit is going to happen. We see it as Nagato did, yet show is still focused on Kyon's point of view while unlike Kyon we know it's a loop so it doesn't fit. Repeating same scenes over and over again doesn't make it "feel realistic" because our brains aren't reset each time unlike Kyon's. Also i'm not making it sound bad. I just say what this show is: Art is bad, music is average, characters are medicore and plot doesn't exists. As I said i've seen worse shows so I gave it 5/10. |

| Ah the Infamous Endless Eight Honestly its not so bad like many people say but can be very disappointing and frustrating to people expecting plot and got a fucking time loop that looks like nothing new happens in the surface The only thing that i'm angry about this arc is how they stopped the loop like seriously? But i would say it is quite fitting for the characters especially and the series and really helps to feel the weight of the pain someone endure here in dissappearance I think if i've watched this when it was airing i think i would really hate the series to death due to being bamboozled every fucking week in the span of 2 months ffs |
