Was watching TV and watched this show which I liked(it was about gaming) and in this episode they had a special daily theme which was anime and I knew alredy about naruto, pokemon and dragonball but I wasnt that great fan of and actually had almost no idea about anime/manga,and in this show they talked about some of the best anime/manga of all time. Then I saw fullmetal alchemist and from episode 1 I was in love with this show and watched the whole FMA in 1-2 weeks so amazed I was. Then after heard about cowboy bebop and after cowboy bebop I was mind blow I knew after that theres no way back and that anime/manga is for me the best kind of entertainment. |

I have been watching anime for about three years now. An acquaintance of mine on YouTube was an avid anime watcher, and she referred me to a few series in an attempt to get me into it. I watched a couple, and I enjoyed them, but I never really got into it until a couple of years later when my Intercultural Studies teacher mentioned Fruits Basket in class (naturally, we were discussing the Chinese zodiac). After watching Fruits Basket, I become very interested in anime in general. I watched a few more, and the rest, as they say, is history. (BTW It's freakin' awesome having a teacher who is into anime. I even see her at cons sometimes.) |
