Yeah. We all know it was coming.. We all know it was canceled... =/

Beelzebub was one of my favorite Manga. It's very sad and disappointing to see it ending like that. The past chapters were shit because the author needed to rush the ending. Just like what happened to Cage of Eden. Sad.

Yes we all known, but is sad.. I'm hope they adapt the rest.. I will wait the spin-off and see.

Those rankings are a huge crime. WSJ is getting worse and worse, I can't read anything anymore... every new manga manages to run only for three/four months before getting axed, but looks like not even long running manga are spared.
It's a shame, regardless of how the second half of the manga turned out ot be, I'll really miss Beel :(

basically it took away all the manliness the manga had, so much that it appeared to be targeted at a way younger audience than it was supposed to.
it also ruined what had potential to be an arrancar arc of sorts (akumeno academy arc). when the anime was canceled and they went for a rushed/original story ending, the mangaka must have felt really shitty because he rushed that arc in the manga too briefly after the news of the cancellation came out. I mean he was doing everything with a great pace and great buildup and taking his time and then the news come out and in 3-5 chapters he rushes most fights and ditches all that buildup in favor of a quick boss battle.
and what he did there became a staple for every other arc that followed it: decent buildup and rushed battles. you'll see what I mean when you compare the awesomeness of beelzebub before akumeno academy and after it.

1. the sales were "bad"
2. it constantly got low ranking
3. it's shounen jump

what did you expect ???
well as a fan I think this is just too soon and the last arc was so goddamn rushed, I mean they just solved the problems in just 1 chapter, WTF....

I'm amazed the author was able to drag it on for so long. I got bored after 70 chapters and thought it already ended long time ago. I guess it's good to hear, maybe new series in its place will be fun.

Lack of actual plot development is the weakness of this series.

The endless debate between fans and haters. At one point, after spending a lot of time on MAL, you just realize it's totally pointless.

Even though it was obvious from the last few chapters that the manga was most likely ending it's still going to be strange not reading beelzebub on a weekly basis.

It was a fun ride but all good things must come to an end

Since I read it since the very first chapter got a translation, I drop it for a few weeks for the first time and this happens. I'll have to read those last few chapters with care. It was fun.

I laughed so hard when Oga's dad did the "Rolling Grovel" move on like episode 13 or so. The rest of the anime didn't live up to the comedy I hoped it would and the fights seemed mediocre at best imo. Last arcs were shitty and rushed and I was counting down the minutes to the end of the last few episodes...

Hopefully manga is way better.

What the fuck do you want them to do? Pander to the people that don't pay them or try and keep the people keeping them in the business happy?

It's a shame but I saw it coming. That last arc was pretty rushed/bad, I did like the one where they went to America though. I'll be sad to see it go, I thought it was a pretty funny Shonen a good substitute/compliment to Gintama and SketDance (when it was still running). It's shame that these types of manga get cancelled but stuff like SOA keeps going strong. Beelzebub was no masterpiece by any means but it was a fun action/comedy manga that never took itself seriously. I'll definitely miss Oga and Hilda.

It started so good, yet the pacing and action was so rushed and not exciting. So its obvious this is the reason, such a shame. It was one of my favourites till they introduce those DBZ demon shit.

I just hope Kuneida confessed or be together with Oga at the end.

Yeah, saw that coming. This last arc was rushing so much. And I'm not that surprised either. The last few arcs weren't the greatest, though they had their moments. Still, this manga always knew to bring a smile on my face every week so I'm going to miss that.
