I am very curious about this. Yamada is a guy's name right? So Yamada would probably be male right? But this is a rock we're talking about, so does that still make Yamada male? And on top of being a rock, Yamada is a god/goddess. I am very confused so I would like to hear everyone's opinion about this |

I've always considered small inanimate objects female--robots, trees and rocks inclusive. Larger objects such as cranes, trucks and towers are male. Also there are quite a few female Yamadas so we can assume it can be used for either, as it is surname. =) Modified by Sarix, 01-04-08, 7:25 PM |

Ah that helps a ton Zarin. Thanks for the info. Now I am one step closer to solving this mystery we call Yamada's gender. However, Yamada isn't just your average rock - Yamada is a rock GOD/GODDESS. Would that have any effect on Yamada's gender? |

Gaia is the Greek goddess of nature. Diana is the Roman goddess of nature. Flidais is the Celtic goddess of nature. Cerridwen is the Welsh goddess of nature. I think I see a pattern here. =) |

Yamada is GAR. Women cannot be GAR. Therefore the answer should be obvious. |

Yamada is obviously female. Y/u/ri love! Oh, btw, what identifier did she use? If it was chan or kun then we could peg down a gender Edit: Yeah she only refers Yamada as Yamada :( Modified by CanadaAotS, 01-14-08, 12:50 PM |
