The goal might not be to tell the story in detail but to just focus on animating everyone's favorite battle scenes. That way, they might minimize dialogue (on the assumption that the viewer has already read the visual novel and/or watched the TV anime) in favor of providing slick fan service. This wouldn't be a "proper" adaptation or movie (and it would be absolutely inaccessible to newcomers), but there's no doubt that many fans would still be thrilled. After all, it worked for Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. |

Hm. I read that a faithful translation was that Nasu said he expected/desired UBW to fit in a 90 minutes movie. Not that the movie will be 90 minutes long. So who knows.  |

its probably going to be some dodgy mini arc that involves 1 or 2 fights... but as long as its not a recap its all good with me Ahoy! |

And going by trailer they are planning on going through its entirety, which makes no sense going by 90 min length. |

Nobody know the meaning of ''an image is worth a thousand words''? Don't compare two medium as different as the animation and a novel. I'm not saying it won't be rushed but you just can't say that it will be rushed because it took you long enough to read it, that's stupid.  |

Its worth at least 27 hours of gameplay. and the condensed story would take about 3-4 hours, if one doe snot rush it. There's no way they would fit it into 90 minutes. |
