F-yes :3

Been waiting for this.

Just a note: while its from the same authors as e7 manga adaptation, its a lot darker than your usual eureka7 fluff.

Heard great things about this manga though haven't personally read it yet (its on the plan to read list). So I hope the anime adaptation is done properly.

This was announced last Saturday on moonphase. Surprised it's taken so long to appear on here.

Anyway, if this show will be censored, then there's no point in animating it.

I hope BONES are the ones behind the animation. For obvious reasons.

MOONPHASE's post about the anime of
Deadman Wonderland
Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru
is sourceless. I'll post it when it's confirmed.

There you have it. I believe it's better to not rely on rumors, even if they often turn out to be true.

Just because there's no source doesn't mean it's true, i mean moonphase is known for speaking the truth, as shown on so many ocassions, though i can understand why dtshyk waited for an actually source image instead of using moonphase for the thread, so ok.

So, is this horrible like Eureka Seven, or is it actually watchable/readable? The story at least sounds interesting.

I'm not familiar with the manga, but it sounds like generic shounen to me. Another teenager as the male lead is also meh.

@Shiroth
Criteria of news topics
Any news should be based on solid official sources. Private blogs (including MOONPHASE, Nanami) cannot be sources.

Exceptions: If there is an unconfirmed but urgent news, it can be posted as a preliminary news when more than one independent unofficial sources are present. (eg. CLANNAD After Story Kyou arc special)

As for MOONPHASE, the reliability of his posts is considerably high but not 100% (like Lyrical Nanoha OVA, Misawa Sachika plays the main of Shangri-la etc.). Cyan always insists that his posts are often based on rumors on 2ch or anonymous leaks and he doesn't guarantee their accuracy. It's common knowledge among Japanese otaku but strangely non-Japanese otaku blindly believe Cyan's news.

Deadman Wonderland anime news was not urgent, so I didn't post as a preliminary news.

Yes, yes. A shounen set in a twisted slaughterhouse where people are all injected poison and have to fight for their lives to buy an antidote, as to prolong their life for another three days.

So yes, its not really a shounen genre member. Its more like a cross between Doubt and Dogs.

Apart from the character designs being a bit similar, this has nothing to do with the fluff of E7. So yes i am pretty sure that its not like E7

Well, I'm more or less fine with the setting as a whole, but stuff like "His Branch of Sin power is "Ganta Gun", a bullet like projectile fired from his palm" or "two large scythe-like blades, made of blood, extending from long cuts on his forearms" I've read in the characters description somewhat turns me off...I only hope the guy doesn't actually go screaming "GANTA GUUUUUN!!!" every time he uses that ability, and that none of the other characters has some ultraspeed drill extending from their groin.

Anyway, I'll give it a try. Maybe this show will be a nice surprise.

Although the authors are the same one who wrote the manga version of Eureka Seven, I get the feeling that this is nothing like it as that the story will most likely be very dark..

The manga is awesome, too bad snoopy is missing...I'm stuck in a 2-3 months old chapter and I want to know how it will go on, however, I don't know how they will do this, for this is published only one chapter a month, or every two months...so, I don't know what to think, definitely something to look forward to.

Seriously, there's not enough material for a very long anime... They must have an original ending in mind.

Honestly, I'm kinda frightened about how this will turn out. The original story is absolutely brilliant; a shonen story with a sick twist and ahh. An original ending will just ruin it. I'm hoping for a 12-episode first season with more seasons later.

It is seinen. And Bones will probably get it.

Also, "Violence Manga"? Wat.

It sounds like it could be pretty good if done well. There is way too little information out now to know what to expect though.
