| Meh, It began awesome, then decayed into the usual stereotypical crap (except pegasus, he was awesome). Hope I'll never see Juliette in a dress ever again, 'cause if I do, the probability of dropping this series is high. |
| I don't like it so far. I feel like they've destroyed Romeo. Romeo is supposed to be care free, hopefully he gets revived later on. We haven't seen much of Mercutio (favourite character from the play) but I hope they portray him well. Where's Rosaline? She should have been a must for this episode. Also, did anyone notice the posters said 'Otello' not 'Othello'. I really hope that one of my favourite plays doesn't get ruined from this anime. |

| Pretty decent start with some nice development in the end, I wonder how close this will be to the actual story and how the whole story will be played out! One thing I hate is that the ED is totally unfitting... |

| Pretty nice start, i had a couple of ''lol wat ?'' moments like how the fuck does that work with her hair ? seems like her hairs are cut and shorts but she just keeps changing the lenght of her hair like whenever she wants also, that ending song wasnt really fitting lol. |

| I noticed the Otello which was weird lol. It looks beautiful and it's so meta! lol. William Shakespeare is in it lol. And voiced by Sebastian from Black Butler in dub and Ciel is Juliet <3333 So far really awesome! |

| "You Raise Me Up?" I know it's by Secret Garden, but I'm more familiar with Josh Grobin's version. It's very pretty, but it's weird to hear such a recent song in a story that dates back to the 16th century. Also, Odin (Juliet) crossdressing as a boy while crossdressing as a girl is amazingly Shakespeare-ish and I love that idea. It helps that Twelfth Night is one of my favorite Shakespeare plays. The meeting between Romeo and Juliet in front of the fountain was so fairy tale-like. It's almost childish, but I like how the show didn't go out of its way to try anything fancy or twisty with the meeting. Romeo and Juliet is a famous love story, so I couldn't imagine the meeting going any other way. That hard rock ending was completely out of place by the way. |

| Loved the first episode, I am already hooked. Cannot wait to see where this goes. The Opening was also very beautiful and quite fitting. |

| Great first episode. The series really draws you in quickly and has no pretense on the viewer not knowing the general plot for Romeo and Juliet so just gets right to it thankfully. Only criticism is that Ending Song, seriously poor choice at least at this early stage. Oh and that Opening is so blatantly a rip off of You Raise Me Up it's almost comical. |
| a lot of chance encounters solely to advance the plot, but they are still grounded. i do hope the fantasy elements are mainly reserved for the worldbuilding and that they wouldn't deviate the story from the original. the opening song is lovely, and i'm already liking the poetic sensibilities in its narration. i could adjust to this art style — so far so good. |
