Fuck this manga suprised me. It was so good, had all the things u want from a HS manga haha. It was just perfect execution of story. READ IT IF U HAVENT! I agree with most of u i was so angry when afro dude and taki got together. But i think in the end the sugawa and Kuro match up was much better haha, much more realistic. Taka was a bit too much, made me cringe sometimes haha Modified by jasvanth, 06-30-10, 11:10 PM |

wow... that was actually very good... and look at sugawa slipping in taking the #1 spot out of the girls list imo... on the last chapter too... it seems kinda odd but it looks like everyone forgot about kitahara in this chapter with this ending id say this would be in my top 5 manga... or somewhere close |

I'm so fucking glad and lucky to come across this out of the blue, as it is a masterpiece and treasure. It had a great story, awesome characters, and the right amount of everything required from it to be satisfied in the end. Would have liked to see more of Sugawa and Kurosawa getting closer though. Helix said: Wow, that was awesome. Started out as something really funny before becoming more serious, still with a funny tone to it. I laughed when I saw that he still hasn't dropped his "daily routine." Animyers said: Even though I personally like Sugawa better, I am still disappointed in the fact that Kurosawa didn't end up with Takigawa. This. Everytime I see Takigawa I crinch a little, but being with Sugawa looks like it'll work out nicely as well. [Tsundere ftw?] Time to read the omake... Completely agreed. Can't ever look at Sugawa again without being reminded of the bitchslap given to Kurosawa. Whenever I see them together I just feel kinda bad for Kurosawa. Anyone else feel like the cover art for the manga is just perfect for the story? |

I can hardly believe the fantastic and daring character development in this manga! Great Job! Who had believed that the egocentric bastard Kurosawa could turn in a sociable guy. And the best turnover was Sugawa: from a bitch who didn't stand out at all, into the cutest female character in this manga! |

Great manga. Totally something I didn't expect when I began reading this. I liked Takigawa at first but and it hurts a bit when I found out about the afro otaku guy and them going out but I simply easily got over her since that afro guy is really a good guy. I can't seem to hate those type of characters and after all, in the end I realized that Takigawa isn't really suited for Kurosawa. I found out she's more like a best friend type to me rather than a girlfriend so it's all good. On the otherhand, Sugawa and Kurosawa are perfect together and I'm glad they ended up with each other. My only complaint is I wanted to see more about their relationship or maybe I wanted to see even just that date on Christmas but nevermind, I'm satisfied with that ending. 9/10 for this manga. |

At the start of this manga...I liked the main character...his "corrupted" attitude towards people was interesting for me..but at the end... his characteristic became more boring for me. I wanted him to continue being like that but it really didn't happen, lol. Even though at the start, I thought the story of this would really just be a parody of DN from start to end, but it wasn't really like that. Though I must say, I like this ending quite alot and it wasn't the way I expected this manga to end. Overall I give this a 9/10 because the ending was just naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw.. :] I'd like to see an adaption of this to an anime, even an ova would work, or some side story of their date or something :)). |

Everything after the main character "changes" is utter crap. unrealistic & offensive. before that, very good. |

There aren't many things that I can say, but I think it will be enough: best manga ever. |

What an amazing manga! Nice story. Can't believe he end up with Sugawa but it's good. Though I want Kurosawa to end up Takigawa. I wish there wil be a sequel wherein Kurosawa have fullfilled his promise with Takigawa and become a novelist. |

Aww man, that last chapter was really just so disappointing. No, actually, not just disappointing: it was awful. Not only did it devolve into nothing more than a bad rom-com with no character development, but Taig...I mean Kitahara was completely absent. No, the train station doesn't count. Also, Tora Dora anyone? The Haruhi and Death Note shout outs were really obvious and there were probably a lot of others that I missed, but I was definitely detecting a lot of Tora Dora. Especially in the characters near the middle. That might just be my inexperience with romantic dramedies and Tora Dora's genericness giving me a false positive, though. |

Bunny-kins said: Am I the only one who didn't want Kurosawa to end up with Sugawa? I'm sorry, but she's still a bitch to me. I can't stand her stuck-up attitude for some reason... I agree. In addition she nearly destroyed Kitahara's life with her bullying. Basically, her past crimes are all forgotten because she turns into a slightly more mature tsundere character. So bullying is acceptable because they are all kids in middle school? Really? Except for that, I loved it for its originality, comedy and drama. At times it even managed to surprise me. 9/10 |

Kitahara was fail. Sugawa FTW! I was afraid it might end without him getting a chance to ask out Sugawa. |

I have to say I picked this manga up at random, not knowing what it was about, I still don't understand why it was made, or what for. But it wasn't lame or boring I continued reading like some great book I just picked out at the library. Kurosawa has to be one of the fist characters I wouldmsay I can mostly relate to, especially towards his peers, I wont go against you but ain't going to follow any of ya either. And think of only a special few in a special way. I seriously felt connected when he was thinking about how Aya was being bullied in class, seeing people go along with it, though I would have stormed out of the class for the day to, instead of sticking around. He's pretty much as guilty as the others I thought. I thought Aya's contract was justified, but the whole pay back deals were unimpressive, like the writer just wanted to use the gimmick for them, I think kuro could have done something better if he was real. The classes' reaction was as pathetic as any classes reaction is. When the whole part with Takigawa came I wondered what the point was, but i realize she probably only wanted to get to know Keiji through kuro, pretty much asking for what happened, and kuro was probably too forgiving to her in the end, he just didn't realize it. Why he ends up with sugawa I can't figure, but it was amusing. |

I just saw this manga yesterday by random while looking for a certain anime/manga.. I clicked on recommendations for deathnote and two more mangas.. adding manga's that captivate me to "plan to read list".. Im not really interested but I clicked it out of curiosity.. and then I saw the meaning of onani, read the plot.. made me more curious but.. still not that interested.. then I saw the reviews with 9-10 marks so I was thinking Ill add it to my "plan to read list" but seeing the chapters short and the summary looks kinda curious.. I thought I should read it maybe until hes caught.. BUT then the UNEXPECTED happen.. ITS EFFING GODLIKE... The more I read it the more I get captivated and curious and I cant stop reading.. All the emotions, happiness, loneliness, anger, jealousy and many more.. ITS IN THERE.. and you can feel it... the story's unpredictable and unexpected things happen.. LOVED the ending.. disappointed at first for its not kitahara, disappointed 2nd for its not takigawa.. and i thought he was never gonna get a girl.. but then comes SUGAWA.. SUGAWAxKUROSAWA is the best pair.. LOVE THE ENDING.. but hope theres a prequel.. :) 10+/10 Modified by forzsaken, 04-19-11, 1:27 PM |
