Great read, I thought this would just be a fap fest throughout, but it turned into a serious atmosphere later in the story.

I'm honestly speechless. This is the most exciting manga I've ever read and this last chapter even made me tear up a little. ;_; It also made me remember - and miss - my middle school days a lot. Ah, youth.

I hated school and even i missed it. This story was almost to good to be a manga

Horrible ending.
I demand that Kurosawa and kitahara end together.
Boring ending.
Look what I did there?

This would of been my top 5, if it shown Kurisawa was shagging Sugawa!

OH GREAT AUTHOR! PLEASE WRITE A DOUJIN HENTAI!

Who knew something as strange a topic as masturbation could turn into such a heart-warming and inspiring story?

I think the fapping rate in schools may have increased after this manga xD

It really is a fantastic manga, it's cliché free I've never read anything like that.

Second time reading this, and I was still fascinated from start to finish. A brilliant story that doesn't appear all that often in manga.

I like how in the end the one he ended up with was someone neither he nor us would have expected. I kind of wanted a really dark ending though considering how dark the rest was. Oh well, pretty good manga overall.

this was a really impactful manga. i'm glad it didnt go to the dark ending, that would be depressing. it was nice that he can still achieve happiness, and that tsundere-baka thing was funny.

FUCK.

Best manga I've ever read, literally glue'd my eyes to the screen. I've seen this manga for a long time now, I thought it was just one of those shitty fan service stuff so I never did bother to read it, not until I tried it yesterday since people were commenting on how good it was. So I started to read it with no expectations at all...and it just blew me away.

^This. No manga has gotten me addicted to the plot by 3 chapters in. I finished it all in one sitting like a boss.

Was really pissed off about the ending - then thought about it, and accepted it. It's character development instead of cliche romcom crap.

And, unless sequels change it, the ending ISN'T kuraXsugawa - not really, not if you think about it... it's just portraying the two characters who grew up the most and (sorta) grew out of their childish crap - well, yeah, fap-fap puff-puff, but still - and moved into the future. That's why they just set a date, rather than get married or something, to the sempai's commentary that it's not likely to last, and to Kurosawa's thoughts that it's not at all tragic if this turns out to be just a memory or a stepping stone.

It's a realistic growing up & redemption story, not a fairy tale.

PS it would be effin hilarious - and kinda realistic - if the franchise ended with the author writing "SORRY BLONDIE, couldn't become a novelist after all... gonna have to settle for a mangaka". then again, maybe it sorta did.

It's funny that i read the main character in Kyon's voice from Haruhi.
Look at the ending. It's kinda similar
First manga i've ever read with such a perfect ending .

Do not judge a book by its cover/title. This is one of the greatest example.

I seriously did not intend to read judging by its silly title at first, thinking it'll be another typical school harem, ecchi or romantic comedy with some confusion leading to forced relationship or such, but how wrong was I. This manga was brilliant in many of its genre. I always value the character development and this mange completely exceeded my expectation. From a fapping introverted otaku to a emotionless pervert fall into a deep hole he might never return to redeeming himself, transforming into a motivated enthusiastic open-minded guy. After reading this, I want to change myself too. A very inspiring piece.

I realllly liked this, only reason i gave this a 8 was cause the masturbating was kind of disturbing and could have easily been replaced with something else

It was good while it was parodying death note, but then it turned into a generic dull school drama. A disappointment for sure.
