I'm sure more people feel the same way....I was baffled by the low scoring months ago and it didn't improve much....

Karin was funny like people mentioned.....

I really don't understand the extremely low scoring for this anime though. Because it's Gonzo, people have low expectations but still...I think it deserves a higher rating than the 2000th harem ecchi series of the season. And I can't help but facepalm at this:

07-Ghost: 7.65 687th place
Umi monogatari: 6.99 2055th place
Shangri-la: 6.90 2241th place

I mean, WTF? I think this anime should deserve at least a score of 7.5......And personally, 07-ghost was so boring I had to force myself to watch it in order to finish it...Seriously?

True true, Umi monogatari and Shangri-la are so much better than 07-ghost.

Very good episode imo.

07-Ghost is such utter crap that I couldn't stand watching it anymore, and actually dropped it. I can't see how ANYONE can like that. I mean, it's way too slow-paced. Boring as hell. Every episode I've seen was 20 minutes of torture.

Anyway, Shangri-la. It's really getting interesting now, with all the characters meeting and interacting. It's already been said, but I'll just repeat it. ;P
I agree on Karen being a lot of fun. I'm scared of Mikuni, though. Lying to her means death, it's still scary.
So, those child sacrifices Takehiko mentioned before he died were used for Hiruko-something? Mi-ko is scary as hell atm, I don't like her new form. Momoko is still awesome, though.
The three Ahikabara geezers are getting kind of annoying now. Never were funny, definitely aren't now.

And Ryoko should get shot. Seriously. What a complete and utter bitch.

Carbon credits are actually an existing idea that the UN have been gambling with during the treaties dealing on enviromental protection (the ones the US refuses to sign over and over >.>). I believe the idea works differently, but it's based on the same thing. The companies and banks who follow certain protocols will get credits, which will have some form of value. Though I don't know the details and who knows if such a thing gets fully implemented any time soon, what with the US public still freely exclaiming "Global Warming, who is that?".

This series is rather on and off but is still passable. At least it's something different to the ecchi harems that are plaguing the anime scene now, like people here have said. I've even seen a few lesbian ecchi on the rise too. It's really preposterous how they multiply.

Yeah I agreed with you here and also the carbon system might get implemented but that is yet to be seen. It would certainly create good pressure to other countries to lower their pollution.

This episode was win because of Karin. She was amazing. From the sunglasses to her reactions seeing Kuniko and answering to Mikuni.

Her company went bankrupt but as she said she had Akihabara in her own name so she didn't lose it. She bought it before going bankrupt.

Kuniko is going to create a lot of carbon problems while burning everything. I hope that annoys Ryoko as hell.
And yes i agree that this show deserves a better score.

What i don't understand, is what is the role of Ryoko if a AAA will inherit Atlas. I mean none of them likes her. That means things are gone a be bad for her when that happens. So i don't see her letting them take everything away from her.
