| Boring episode... (must be the first). Flashbacks powa...... Only got interesting in the end IMO I wasn't expecting so many time to pass before the appearance of those two... nor did I expect they to know each other. Seems I'm not totally spoiled yet (I'm glad). Hopefully Kira will get real opposition again in the next ep. |

| The last one was sooooo good, and this one was mostly flashbacks so it was a bit of a disappointment. I haven't read the manga so i have no idea who those 2 kids are!!so i'm sure the next chapter is going to be interesting. |

| yeah Kuro-Hana subs aren't bad. Translation is fine, image quality is flawed but not too much. I can't ask for more since it's a speed sub anyway. I waited for animanda until 23... but they were getting to slow lately and it was just getting to interesting for me to wait any longer. So I'm gonna watch KH for now and replace them later with animanda as soon as they release. (assuming they aren't dropping the show) |

| Agreed with previous posters, the episode was boring the first half, although it did seem about time for a semi-recap of all that happened. I won't say anything but that whole last half really sets up a completely different style of the show if it does continue staying true to the manga. |

I guess it was useful for someone who delayed watching ep 25 for so long because she didn't want to see L die xD and in all honesty, I'm quite impressed with how they managed to get the whole of the first 25 episodes condensed into 15 minutes >x< also the 4 year jump works better in the anime than the manga I think.. I seem to remember just turning the page and suddenly I was in 2012 thinking: "Whhhhhaaaaaaaaattttt?!?!" and getting rather peed off by the whole situation xD but yes. enter Mello and Near. yay. (I miss L too much to like them xD) |

| ok... i was getting pissed at the start since the entire first half was just a recap.. hahaha.. good thing it wasn't the entire episode.. ayway... its boring without L... and light just killing everybody... ugh.. anyway.. wonder what L was "transmitting" and those 2 guys that old man was talking to at the end.. will they be the new Ls??? hope so.. its so boring without an L... :D |

| the first half was a recap, meh~ thinking now skipping it was a good idea after all. this show is crap without L. as ryuuk said: "guess i won't have much fun to look forward to then" indeed. hope these two new characters change that. |

I loved this episode and the flashbacks were useful and It was amazing that it recapped everything previous to this episode in 15mins, usually in most animes the recaps aren't as condensed and are too long or unnecessary. I thought it was very useful in setting the stage since we jump into the future 4 years. loved it, but i miss L. LOL, Misa, you fool. WOW 2012. Damn, Light you just get crazier and crazier. |

| The entire episode is a flashback, you could just ski it. Near is a lot like L aside from he is cold and unemotional. Mello, however is the opposite, and he despises Near. Now there is no L vs. Light drama, it's nice to see the battle between Mello and Near instead. |

| Its definitely boring once L dies. I think Light definitely got careless with killing the con-artist & the thief, as well as the workers left at Yotsuba. Although he is very clever, his actions are sometimes flawed and that is what lead to his demise in the end. |

| Surely, condensing all the previous 25 episodes in 10 minutes is INSANE. What was the author's intent with the recap? (Starting the episode with L still alive can be an answer). People who didn't understand or forgot what happened before will still remotely understand all the elaborate events that led to L and Rem's death, except for the fact that Light is a truly bastard (but I should say that for some people this final assumption is enough to go on with the series); and people who know the previous events by heart will be bored to death, like me. Anyway, that's not the point, so here are some thoughts raised by this episode: - Who sent the message to the old man regarding the death of L? Was it an automatic message planned by L himself in case of his death? - Once you've finished a white jigsaw puzzle, what's next? A white Rubic cube? - Light you're a truly bastard. |

| It seems that L is dead but now we're getting some chibi versions of him. Not too sure about this. In any case, I loved Misa's reaction when Light said he wanted them to live together. |
