| Lol at Barry casually chilling out, playing chess, and asking if he can chop someone up haha. Poor Winry, Ed and Al. And what the hell? That was a scummy move, I like her but bet Mustang will condemn/kill her in a fit of rage, considering the next episode is "cold flame". |

| Interesting episode, now finished or nearly, plot shared with the FMA, the story begins to be more intriguing, all that is emerging in it, is new and involves much more my attention, good drawings and animations. I love the ending! <3 |

So sad to see Ed, Al's and Winrys reaction to Hughes death, especially in the Ed and Winry moment ;_ ; Lust is such a insidious woman (if I can call her like that). And now they make it so that it seems like Maria Ross is liable for the death of Hughes? That will be interesting. |

| How did I JUST notice (my 4th time watching through Brotherhood) that Winry's hotel room number is 503? I wonder if the studio decided to put that in as a little nod to FMA fans. If it was, that was a cool addition. |

| How the hell did you even figure out Ross was involved ... we know it was Envy disguised as Ross but I'm pretty sure there were no bystanders. Unless the military police guy was Envy aswell ... idk. |

| I didn't mind the slower pacing on this one. There haven't been many episodes recently without a fight of some kind taking place, which is fine, but not necessary in every episode |

| everyone after the hughes incident made me major tear up. poor maria being framed for it too, there are way to many traitors in this military. even that guy's girlfriend i swear.. |
| Them feels... ;__; Information about Hughes' death was really tragic to hear for Edward, Alphonse and Winry, but the saddest moments were those with Winry, firstly meeting Hughes' wife and doughter, and later mourning Hughes' death alone in the room. It was very realistic, especially after Ed came to Winry and she told him about that apple pie she planned to make for Hughes. In sad moments like that people tend to have strange thoughts on simply things that were or are related to the person who died. |
| Ling is thrown to prison not to be seen in the next 5 episodes or so I assume. I hope I'm wrong though. The impact of Hughes's death was conveyed very well, more so than the death scene itself which had felt far-fetched. I'm interested to see what will become of Lieutenant Ross. 3.5/5 |

| The trio found out about Brigadier General Hughes' death only this late in and by accident as well, making that revelation even more devastating to them. Envy just waltzed into State Alchemist Central HQ so easily and didn't even get caught on the way despite royally screwing up and it's grinding my gears. Maria has to deal with a military investigation that might have her executed if she's proven guilty because of the shapeshifting bastard using her form before giving the killing blow. Barry became roommates with Falman and Havoc's girlfriend but it's actually Lust, shit! |

| i love it when envy just turns up disguised as random people, it adds a whole new level of mystery about what is going on every mention of hughes gets me sad, i grew really attached to him in FMA and therefore in this too. also i love mustang so much, he's a great combination of skill and wit and cockiness and heart and just all-round legendary behaviour. so when lust and envy said he was suitable for sacrifice - what sacrifice???! things are getting twisty! |
| Edward, Alphonse and Winry all find out this episode about the murder of someone they loved and respected, Maes Hughes and while I didn't cry for it, it did feel sad after noticing how he was with all of them in respective manners. The guy was a really down to earth person who just was doing his duty to help a fellow friend, as well as be a doting father/husband. What makes everything more complicated is Maria Ross was framed to be the main suspect of the Hughes murder. The pace of the show has slowed down to be normal, now that the intro material was all covered, and the tension building was really good at the very end. |
| the animation and art style of this anime evolved.colonel hughes died in episode 10 our heroes heard the news of his death in episode 16. this episode is depressing and emotional. |

| i never understood why the homunculi are working so hard to manipulate and maintain the military so their "sacrifices" could stay safe. If they need them so badly, why not just lock them up in a cage or something instead of wasting all that effort? |
| As for how Ross is getting convicted I'm pretty sure that's just the manipulation of Envy disguised as one of the higher ranked officers making up bullshit for the soldiers to believe |

| This was a great episode overall, just when the whole thing with Lieutenant Hughes is over, the Elric brothers find out about his death. I really did like Maes as a character, funny, a good but ever so overprotective father and a beloved friend and ally. Things are picking up here. |
| New OP and ED! I prefer the first OP, but the current OP is really nice as well. I absolutely love the current ED too. So finally Ed, Al and Winry find out about Hughes' death. I thought Mustang would tell them the truth, but in the end he didn't have the heart either. Between not having the heart and maybe he's afraid of blaming Ed and Al for Hughes' death. I don't know, I liked him from the beginning, but from the preview of the next episode it seems that something will really start to change for him... it will most likely affect Ed and Al too. I'm honestly very surprised that Havoc's new girlfriend is Lust. I don't know how it ends, but these homunculus are driving me crazy. Especially Envy who keeps changing their form to trick people including Sheska who has fallen for their trick. Argh. I wish she didn't tell that devil what Mustang was looking for T__T I don't know what will happen to Maria and Havoc after this... I'm scared to think about it |
