i hate spoilers, if that counts, for me, part of the point of watching something, is NOT knowing how it ends.
Anime makes me smile!

Omniscience sure is a drag.

But you wouldn't be thinking of rewards would you, because you know what the outcome is going to be anyway. Overall, it's just fatalist.

(might want to clean up the spelling a bit in the OP, might make it easier to get your point)

I spy a predictable post ~~ Yes we all hate predictability that's why it's better to watch less shonen animes and more mindfucks like Code Geass.

This topic doesn't taste to spammy to me, at least there's a point SOMEWHERE, ya know?
And as for said topic, of course not, shit feed me more answers to mysteries. I love knowing as much as I can, because there's a potential for error or confusion in things I don't. And nobody loves a blunder. And that goes for everyday chores too, because it's much less nerve wracking knowing what I'll be paid and generally when than when your new and know nothing. Patterns create a comfort zone.

true but those are good outcomes. bad outcomes are worse for obvious reasons. the things is they cannot be changed either.

Well bad meaning death a,d such? Because I like to know those too. If you don't, shit just comes outta NOWHERE. But if you know, at least, you can be at ease with your inability to do anything else. Totally obliterates that "what if" shit we always do to ourselves.

you now know you die in a car crash while going to work you drop your bag and while beding over to get it a drink driver runs a red light and kills you.

now you know

BUT WHAT IF! etc etc

no you see know how your going to die doesnt stop it from being any less stupid. or less painfull. when you know somthing is coming its worse because you think your prepared but never are.

Well isn't it a little silly to tell someone they can never be prepared? That's entirely personal. Say your scenario was something I could possibly have the foresight to know, yes it is unalterable and stupid (hell of a headstone THAT would be) but knowing leaves me ample room to prepare myself mentally. In that instance, the "what if" business is nil anyways because I'm completely fucking dead. Plus, it also allows for the unique opportunity to mow over what you did/didn't do in life beforehand. But again, that's just me. Though monotonous at times, knowing as much as you possibly can in my opinion makes life much more tolerable and easygoing.

we disagree on this.

you now know yuo are walking back from the shops. the next thing you know your in the cellar of a mad man the next resulting 26 years will now be an constan hell of pain and misery ending in your very brutal and painful death. there is no way you can prepere for that. you might steel yourself metally but realty is different from the mind. knowing IF ONLY brings not comfort.
