Say your scenario was something I could possibly have the foresight to know, yes it is unalterable and stupid (hell of a headstone THAT would be) but knowing leaves me ample room to prepare myself mentally. In that instance, the "what if" business is nil anyways because I'm completely fucking dead. Plus, it also allows for the unique opportunity to mow over what you did/didn't do in life beforehand. But again, that's just me. Though monotonous at times, knowing as much as you possibly can in my opinion makes life much more tolerable and easygoing. |
