If you can get passed their random uses of liberal words that aren't even said in the Japanese such as fuck when Nakamura obviously says sex & other stupid choices as well as not trolling subs, it's decent. Everything was perfect, except "oyaji" being translated as "pops" :/ Yoroshiku > gg best subbers ever Nothing wrong. Stop using VLC. By the way, my computer that is almost two years old can play this just fine, so I don't know what the one commenter is talking about. bad translation, and res too high for most new computers to play without lagging a little a colorful and quality translation. People who have trouble displaying the subs should switch from VLC to SMPlayer No. - HD is fine, but this group... no. All perfect , no complaints! awful timing seems like they still don't know how to sub which made me have to adjust timing and size of subs--which I had to figure out myself. All problems related to timing, fonts or whatever is your own fault. Even my old computer (4-5y.o.) play these perfectly. Stop using third world hardware and stop using the worst player in the world - VLC. Nothing wrong with the translation or timing as far as I can tell, nice HD release. The guy who claims there are errors should post them somewhere. QUALITY subs if you can't play it's your own fault I used a different player, updated my codecs, and haven't had a single problem since then. Choppy sentences and weird word order.
It feels like they translated word for word with no structure. Speedy and reliable. Truly the finest subs. The subbing was very bad, and I could not understand what the characters were trying to say. The subbing in all seriousness was horrible. I had to stop the video and read through it at least 2 times to grasp what was being said. I dont care that Yokatta means something, instead of writing "Yokatta" then explaining it, just write "Thank Goodness". Totally not taking the show seriously, they did a literal translation on episode 7 that made my brain bleed. ex: ” that child, japanese representant in sniping for adoshiaado is, because of that busy.” you gotta be kidding me... my eyes are bleeding thanks to this subs. what everybody is saying about the puns and whatnot is true but i personally want definition and notes, so i can have a deeper understanding of Joshiraku Note: "Meter" is used for measuring devices. Good overall, but I wish they'd used more hardsubs -- pausing and backing up to catch missed softsubbed text is annoying. Almost all signs are typeset; a great improvement from the OVA. TL notes on a blog if you're just as nerdy as I am. Only complaint is that there are no subs for the opening or ending. Otherwise great.
