Hello :). Interesting profile. Like you, i buy real DVD's :P. I agree with your review on Evangelion: Angelic Days. I can't believe they chose that guy to do the artwork... If only it were done properly cos' it's carrying the Evangelion name :(. Geez...
I'd have to say i enjoy anime just a little bit more than manga but only because i don't like reading much and i find it hard to find the enthusiasm to pick up a book, any book. Allthough i have a love for the artwork, be it anime or manga :). |

Hey Phill-z, I just read your review for Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust and I thought I should clarify something; The English track isn't a Dub. It was originally recorded in English, later dubbed in Japanese. So technically, the real elitists are watching the English version ;)

I just read your review "Neon Genesis Evangelion: Angelic Days".. Which reminded me another manga(eh.. doujinshi) with the NGE label: http://myanimelist.net/manga/1353/Neon_Genesis_Evangelion_Re-Take It's pretty good and manages to capture that "NGE-feeling".. but be warned it contains around 5% hentai lol :o But aside from the hentai.. it's a manga worthy of having the NGE-tag on it.. If you have doubts.. read the reviews :) Enjoy.. PS: Thx for the Kemonozume/Mindgame reviews :o, they inspired me to watch those shows.. |

just wanted to display my disbelief towards lilgunmanx's comment. i agree with your review of narutaru the ANIME BUT would strongly recommend you check the manga out. higurashi is quite interesting and i would also check out Bokurano, also written by the same author as narutaru. chaos;head is also pretty damn shitty (other than the first few episodes, which were relatively interesting) though so far i hate the new ova of higurashi.

I must disagree with your Narutaru review, for your comparison of the series to Higurashi is entirely foolish.
Higurashi BY NO MEANS achieves a "perfectly disturbing atmosphere." Higurashi is little more than poor character design and development mashed together with knives and ridiculous paranormal elements which detract from the overall mystery and "perfectly disturbing atmosphere." The only thing "perfectly disturbing" about Higurashi is how anyone...LET ALONE A MASS OF PEOPLE...could possibly find that series even slightly unsettling. You want something that'll make you **** your pants? Go watch Chaos;Head. THAT creates a perfectly disturbing atmosphere. That show is a bloody masterpiece in comparison. |

Yeah I agree the fighting and graphics are top class. But you can't rate an entire show on just that please try to understand me and I dropped evangelion becuase I disliked the characters I Know that it changed anime history but that does'nt make it the best thing ever

Enjoyment: Honestly, after episode 4 I stopped paying attention at all. I really, really didn't care after episode 6. After episode 8 I could barely sit through each episode. So I can honestly say that I didn't enjoy this anime at all. At all. its very true i even dropped it @ ep 6 and not 8 O_O! |

Yo I have a question, did you enjoy Mind Game more than Tekkon Kinkreet? Because I saw Mind Game, and while I recognize the quality of it, I just couldn't get an overall feeling of enjoyment (which is partially because of the randomness that ensued at the end).
