I can't say I was looking for the past 2 months (Sorry!), but after the recent "events" relating to manga, I was surprised at even finding this:

Ok FYI Isaw RoboGeisha and I wasn't as impressed as the others: Tokyo Gore Police and Machine Girl. I didn't really even laugh until the castle started dancing - but then I really lost it. Other then that it was ok, and the chicks with masks were kind of annoying.
However I saw Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl. If you have not seen this then go now! This one is like adding up the greateness of all three and then cubing it...it is so f'in baddass. Go to nexflix now....add it. Then report back. |

Better yet, OMG, How about we swap costumes halfway through the movie. We will yell cut but keep the cameras going and just change costumes! Something tells me that will be the best part of the movie. lol I haven't heard of Robogeisha, but i just checked it out on netflix and it looks SWEET. Sounds like a cheesy bloodfest type. if you like those then see Tokyo Gore Police and The Machine Girl too. They are really good. |

I'll check hulu for it and check it out....so scared now. BTW I got a good crossover idea we can do as a live action movie. Golgo 13 vs Karen Kasumi (remember her?). I'll be Golgo 13 and you be Karen. Its a great idea!!! |

Minor problem I just realized. We just cancelled cable like 2 weeks ago, so i don't have adult swim anymore. lol
I guess I can try hulu or something...but seriously a 20% price increase in 6 months kills cable. :( However this doesn't get you out of watching Golgo 13. You are stuck! |

I usually watch one show around 11pm and then call it a night. Even on fridays and saturdays I don't have the energy to stay up after midnight anymore. I am boring. yes wait for the whole thing. I think it will be like 13 DVDs...or 5, whichever comes first. I donno. I haven't bought it yet, but I have seen some before it was licensed. And I just played the nes game to the end. :) You should too! |

Wow thats alot. The one I went to maybe had 5000 over the entire day and I could have counted the women with my hands. :P Though I am not sure I am prepared to embrace that much of my geekdom. Sounds like a blast though! I'm sure it would be more fun if I had more friends who enjoyed it but sadly not very many of my friends are willing to admit this level of nerdiness to me.

Wow your brave! A girl at a Comic Convention, thats like strapping dead fish to your body, chumming the water and jumping into the ocean with sharks. :P I went to one way back when totally unprepared for what I would see there, thinking I could get some collectibles and stuff. Frankly I was a bit terrified.. heh. I never went back to one. :)
Is that cosplay of something or did you just throw that together? |
