Oh Nanami is just a very egocentric person. I wonder if she'll fight also, because in the opening she somewhat does. On the other hand in the op even Anthy is dressed up in armor and she's riding a horse and has some weapon as I recall. Curious.
btw Do you think the shadow-girls are somehow telling us what's about to happen each episode?

I've finished 5ep. This time no singing, unfortunatelly :P Nanami setted some girls on Anthy because she's jealous of Touga? I hope it won't go too far (Are the japanese siblings really so much into incest or is it just anime siblings alone? I mean, where is the purpose of peddling such things? :/ I haven't seen that much anime in my life but this thread is so annoying common that I already learned to hate it the moment I see it) When the girls attacked Anthy I had to remember myself that they're only about 13- so still quite stupid if you ask me.
Nanami is pure evil :P and her laugh lol haven't heard that for a long time... classy
I don't know what to think about the melting dress -.- beside that even the tablecloth-dress looked way better.
Anthy's so passive that almost not human, a drab doll.

Tiger & Bunny, as many episodes as possible per day- lol I know what you mean.
It's great, I absolutely love it. Characters are so realistic, and they have a real impact on each other. The plot is original and interesting even if somewhat a tiny bit predictable (not that there is a huge spoiler in the op... -.-you'll see)

When I give a score I think about how entairtaing the show was, how well executed was the plot, how good were the art and the animation. I think 10-masterpiece fits Death Billiards. Only thing I could consider as not good would be the waitress haircut or "what the old man said to the bartender". And well... I'm a newbie to anime so I respect the newbies of Madhouse's work :P
At first I wasn't astonished, you know: men don't remember how they've ended up in the elevator, I thought it's going to be something like mafia's game- so not really my favourite flavour. Even the bartender's pretty angel-alike eyes haven't prepare me for what happened in the second part of the show when the purpose of the game was uncovered. and the young man's emotional speech. and The hug.
In my opinion the main point of Death Billiards was perfectly executed, and within only 25 minutes. The art was great, the duel- perfect. I loved the angel's eyes design, and the "I understand, it's all right" hug. And ofc the open-ending ;)

I'll look forward your message about Utena. Mine is already downloaded, like I've wrote before: I'm trying to start it for a while now, but I'm a bit scary of getting lost or missing some important details (I've heard that Utena's quite complex and full of subtle clues -however I do not know how trustworthy is this opinion)

I didn’t think that killing Luna would reverse the situation but (because it was said about her and Casshern’s blood being mixed, I thought their lives are since bound up with each other) it will instantly cause also Casshern’s death- and he didn’t want to hurt Ringo (she’s already lost Oji and Lyuze) so decided to not kill Luna (and so himself). That’s why I was confused when it appeared that he has left Ringo. I still don’t get the thing about Luna’s cells inside the stone/crystal, I thought this was something very important because of all the mess with looking for Ringo- the chosen one (?). Eventually I think it appeared important only for us (just like Lyuze’s episode), for we know what Luna used to be and so what she might be now.

Untill Redline (watched recently; I hope anime’s future will look this very way; every frame is so unbelievably polished!) I’ve never thought about issues like studio or stuff. After Redline I was looking for more art quality like this and so found out there exists a Madhouse, but nothing more really. Beside ofc putting Trava and a few promising others on my PTW.

“A lot of things were left open for interpretation” yes this makes this anime worth re-watching many times. Farmore CS ends up in a way that somewhat may imply the continuity between the end and the beginning (not only the other way around) I love this kind of endings sooo much. If you know any anime with similar end please let me know about it :3

Hey candor, you should try reading Akame Ga Kill, it's a really gory battle manga, some of the fights are actually entertaining and nicely drawn, but the writing of the manga sucks and the politics in the series is terrible as well, and the battle system is meh too but interesting at the same time, but I have to warn you that some scenes in the manga can be pretty violent and a bit over the top since I guess the mangaka is trying to shove a dark atmosphere down our throats, but check it out and gimme your feedback.

I'm barely on ch. 23 on one piece so it'll be a long time til I catch up :/

Hey Candor, did you understand the duel between Rohan and the RPS kid? like how Rohan used the invisible baby to win, I honestly did not understand it.

It's one of the best anime I've ever watched. I'm definitly going to rewatch this and not just once. Beautiful and as you've said mind-provoking. It resembles me more a play than an anime (but this may be a result of my short anime list ^^")
The "psychodelic" episode, was really weird... I mean the black guy and the ring girl and Lyuzu herself as a child, and Lyuze breaking the forth wall out of nowhere o.o but it was not bad. The placement of it was a bit weird, though there is no place where it would fit.
And the "controversial" last episode... yeah... I really would rather see this little creature dead -.-
But even if it's understandable why he didn't kill Luna then why he let Lyuzu die, and why he left Ringo? It was as unexpected as the decision of men to abandon their eternal life... though even now there is many people who would drink any poison their guru gives them. Anyway I don't like this mess :P

Only thing I can think of is JoJo :/ but that sounds intriguing
