I don't like watching depressing anime, so thats why I couldn't watch too many episodes in one go. Though I understand your logic, but still there is a limit to how much someone can handle ^^'

Just read your Love Hina review. I actually liked the anime but enjoyed your review nevertheless. Hilarious rant you had going there! I would imagine that anime would not appeal to females so no big surprise. Anyway, good review! Keep it up!

Oh well.. I guess you were at least 15 when you wrote your reviews 'full of hate/anger!".
They've been around for like 3-5 years.. And .. uh.. Love Hina.. wasn't THAT bad...was it? What I regretted the most about that anime.. was .. that it never really got serious.. I would have liked it a bit more .. if the (harem) girls actually made some 'serious' moves.. which could lead to 'drama drama' + psychological warfare! But it didn't happen.. Anyways.. I guess your ratinglist bashes around 90% of the anime I like.. but.. I think you're one of those MAL-viewers (they're always girls), who have some kind of 'messed up' *cough* rating system. Like .. never a 10/10 .. cuz nothing is perfect and such.. But I guess have to add 1/2 points to everything you rate.. in order to get an idea if you liked the show 'as much as I did'.. ehhh. At least you liked 'gurl who travelled thru time' and uh.. Nana.. I guess.. I wanted some serious stuff from Nana injected into Love Hina.. cuz I srly 'lol-ed' when watching Nana (drama parts). The only kind of 'overrated' anime I see in your list (of the anime we've both seen).. is Welcome to NHK. Especially compared to the manga we both read, imo the anime is somewhat 'weaker'. I had the feeling that in the anime.. the creators were afraid to deepen out the relationship between.. Misaki and the bum. Even though Misaki.. was just screaming for it .. with her loli-eyes. And when the anime ended.. and nothing happenend.. I was kind of disappointed.. But anyways.. I'm gonna end this rant of mine.. You should touch some of the anime I have seen .. and say/review something about it.. :D Cuz I like your 'critical' attitude :D Try this one.. it reminds me of your name: Midori no Hibi The concept is so ridiculous, that I thought it might never work. But you'll be surprised :o.. (or maybe not.. hahah) |

I'm definitely not a fan of Yamapi. I'm not a hater either, just haven't seen anything astonishing with him yet.
I'm on a drama break atm, since everything I watch either gets dropped after five seconds for being boring as fuck, or I don't even bother to start it. But I'll definitely watch Liar Game 2. Let me know if you find something good to get me back on track. |

Heh, I just finished H&C. It got a little more interesting right near the end (last 3 episodes) Takemoto (white haired guy) just up and left on, you guessed it, his bicycle. He went on a soul searching trip around japan. I find things like that interesting so I enjoyed it. He also confessed to hagu (hamster, lol). I was prepared to give the series a 4 before it picked back up. everything else was really boring. :P

I completely agree it is EXTREMELY boring and the characters are all terrible, but the opening animation was amusing until it changed. =[ Somehow I can't bring myself to drop it though, maybe I'm somewhat masochistic...? Sounds about right. xD |
