Goddamn, I need to play that game. If the 1st was already very good, then the second is gonna be fucking great, it apparently does everything better (except for the MC). You saw the Let's Play, right? Up to which chapter?
And LOOOL at those openings. Too bad it won't take the player by surprise, though, because he's already played the 1st game and knows what it's all about.
Your exams end tomorrow? You need to catch up with Log Horizon, it took a turn on politics (it was like 2 entire episodes talking around a table) and they're discovering their world and also discussed the People of the Land's rights, I think this show will be above average.
I got to the Monkey Hunter arc in Gintama, and it's awesome. It's the second time Sorachi makes a hilarious parody of games (the first was in Bentendo Owee's episode).
The GM mechanics were pretty stupid, though, just to add a tension of they not being able to die and come back, but whatever.

I'd say at least one of the other two still in are lying about it, pardon the cynicism, so yeah, I doubt you will win but hey, might as well hang in there as long as you can.
Double-Negative | 12-10-13, 2:49 PM
I suppose. Still,do it if you win.
Double-Negative | 12-10-13, 1:33 PM
How have you not changed your user to "Not-JizzyHitler"? It's uncanny yo.
Litrydow | 12-10-13, 8:02 AM
Fuck you, now I wanna play that game, it sounds bloody awesome :( It seems the protagonist is gonna annoy me, but everything else you pointed out make up for that and takes a step up from the first game. I wonder if all loose ends are tied up by the end or there'll be another sequel.
But what is that "something awful translation"? Project Zetsubou's translation is good, and they haven't dropped it.
King Torture will probably die in the next episode, even the title of the episode is something about a final battle. After that... I think they'll go down the alien route, because the scientist said the particles he took from the monsters are not from this world or something like that. At least this time there's foreshadowing.
But I'm still not sure what the show is really trying to do. It goes from serious to parody to serious again, but even this serious is silly because the plot is stupid. If they're trying something like Gurren Lagann as you said, we'll know in the next episodes. It'll either be a catastrophe of ass or a marvelous piece of fiction that everyone will praise for years to come.
And just after a great episode, another great one came. Hasegawa running the sushi restaurant got me laughing almost nonstop, it was fucking brilliant.
WTF is Yamazaki doing there?! He's throwing bread (what's anpan anyways?) on people's faces?
LOOOOL at that pic, it describes either Gintama or Code Geass R2... if you know what I mean.
Litrydow | 12-09-13, 11:39 AM
It'll be really weird to have him as an old man still taking part in the story, I don't know what to expect.
DUDE, that game is gonna be awesome, I have to fix my PS3 somehow until it comes out next year.
The fans opinions regarding parts 2, 3 and 4 are very mixed. They all agree parts 1, 5 and 6 are the weakest, but the 3 others they don't agree on, some claim part 3 to be very inferior to part 2 and so on. I think that only part 7 everyone agrees to top everything.
And yeah, I'm worried about the length of the show. If they make it only 26 episodes, I'll read the manga instead, because it'll be rushed as fuck. When do they usually announce the amount of cours?
Dio is one of the most cliché and one-sided villains I've ever seen, but he's still very charismatic, which is why many people have him on their favorites. He'll probably be very entertaining again on part 3.
I actually didn't like the 2nd op that much, I preferred the 1st. No real reason, just personal preference, I found it catchier, along with the ending.
And just after a very good arc, I just watched a very good standalone episode about the smoking ban and Hijikata trying to find a cigarrette. I'd NEVER expect a Dragon Ball parody in that kind of premise. ROFL it was great
I'd better look up how the stands work before watching that arc, because in part 2 they didn't exist yet.
Yeah, Itou turned out a pretty good villain (in comparison to the shitty one of Benizakura arc), also better than the princess from Ryuugujou (come on, even if there was a theme about beauty and old people there, you can't deny her reasoning was stupid, but at least she developed in the end), but damn, that fight with Banzai was lame.
I think... Yamazaki's funeral was funnier a bit, because nobody gave a shit about him. LOL
But we have a big problem there. Gurren Lagann was stupid from the start, while Flamenco turned upside down in episode 7 with a huge asspull. Gurren Lagann made fun of clichés and incorporated in pure epicness, while Flamenco became incredibly silly now they're taking King Torture seriously. And by the evidences from the scientist, I think they'll go with the alien route, this is gonna be so stupid.
But maybe they have something unpredictable planned.

Yo man, I think I've found your room: http://i.imgur.com/bPhTusQ.jpg
Haha just kidding, I was in the forum and found some topic about watching anime besides computers and I wanted to say glad I'm not the only one that can't watch an anime without watching it on their TV, since I got this new tv 2 weeks ago can't watch anything from the laptop ever again...
P.S: Nice to see another Gintama fan. :D
(Sorry for the random comment though lol.)
Litrydow | 12-08-13, 4:58 PM
Yeah, Kyousou Giga is still heading towards best show of the year. Let's see how they'll wrap everything up in the next 2, although it's still kinda sad that it's so short.
LOL, Joseph is fucking awesome, Jonathan is nothing compared to him. Part 2 was a step up from part 1 in everything, from the protagonist to the fights and twists. I hope part 3 will step up even more with the stands and all.
In which episode does that arc starts?
I just finished the Ryuugujou arc, btw, it was good. It had a lot of hilarious moments (although the last episode was weak in that aspect), and the plot adapted the legend very nicely into Gintama's setting.
LOOOOOL at that pic. Without seeing part 2 you wouldn't be able understand it.
skapandi | 12-08-13, 10:43 AM
Good call. I pretty much agree with you even on part 2 being way better like I had said before. Joseph is a great protagonist and yeah
People who’ve read the third part say Jotaro, its protagonist, is pretty cool too so let’s see how he’ll measure up to Joseph (who was honestly so great and embodied the show’s good points so well that I can’t see any other Jojo coming close to him, but I’ll keep an open mind).
Was episode 20 (my memory with numbers isn’t so good) the
Also the opening for the second part was so fucking good. And for the 1st part, lol look at this:

Thank you, JizzyHitler...
I promise you that "I'm covered in semen help me I'm drowning" will now become the battle-cry of my people!
(Now I just need to find some poor saps to lead...)

Well since you're so eager to know here's why I don't like Breaking Bad
- The first series had really bad pacing and was just slow in general.
- I didn't like Walter as a main character but that's just my opinion
- I thought the focus of the series was a bit too narrow and limited what the show could do
- I didn't really like the other characters much
- I think the show could have been better than it turned out
Because of that I give it a mal score of 4/10 mainly because I dislike the characters
Just so you know I actually respect you because you are one of the few users that didn't resort to childish insults in the threads
Also thank you for defending me
skapandi | 12-06-13, 8:21 PM
Even though I knew who it was it was still pretty shocking/surreal to see it all get revealed, that last trial in general was really fucking good and that end was just max tease, I'm hoping SDR2 sheds some light on that.
Hopefully the reasoning of who is the mastermind is still interesting despite their identity itself being underwhelming.
Oh man Togami, I'm really curious about what was the deal with him. I can only think of obvious/stupid theories for that so it being unexpected is cool.
And how's that Jojo now, you're almost done with it.
skapandi | 12-06-13, 7:39 PM
I'm gonna put it in a spoiler tag just in case
I got spoiled about DR's mastermind cause of the thread and their stupid meme about it. Sucked but I could still enjoy the moment when it came.
skapandi | 12-06-13, 6:48 PM
Really? That’s a relief to hear that there’s no context needed to read it. Maybe it’s backwards then? In the sense that it might make a few people interested in the original after reading it. Or maybe not, since it’s its own thing, but that depends on the person too.
A shame on the getting spoiled, I think I have an idea of who it might be from that (and from what I’d speculated previously on my own too).
Litrydow | 12-06-13, 9:47 AM
Haha, I told you part 2 is much better. Joseph is awesome, while Jonathan was more of a gentleman, which isn't as fun to watch. The story is also more engrossing, part 1 was a straightforward hunt for Dio.
Editing the code to change the images is probably gonna be a pain the ass, you could just request one at the club and someday they'll do it for you. There are also other premade "reviewer layouts" as they call it:
Dude, you still have a whole week of exams? What a torture, I'm already in my 2nd week of vacation.
David101 | 12-06-13, 5:22 AM
Well i haven't actually started up on Kill la Kill yet so i can't say anything about that but from all the screenshots of the latest episodes i've seen here and there it looks like the director is trying a bit too hard with this series though it can still be good.
For Log Horizon: the show getting a bit slow but that's cause of the progress with the story. And about the fact that they are calm... It's anime and they're trying to show a bit of a different side to this (unlike SAO which went ape shit after some time) and well this could be a bit interesting in my opinion.
And yeah most shows are pretty predictable, but for most people(like me) that's mostly a plus point since we get to see what we want in the series rather than something that's unpredictable crap.
And well the rating itself didn't tick me off, but the comments you gave for the series .__. but that doesn't matter since everyone has his own opinion on everything.
Btw, what's the criteria for you to give a 10/10 or a 9/10 rating to a show?
David101 | 12-05-13, 3:36 PM
lol just kidding.
Though on a more serious note: why'd you rate some of the better shows that air with such a low score? (though scores don't really matter since it's MAL but your comments on the shows kinda ticked me off a bit there)
Litrydow | 12-05-13, 2:42 PM
By episode 9, I have to say I don't know what Samurai Flamenco is trying to be anymore. The parody elements are still there, but it tries getting edgy and serious and threw in some mysteries that god only knows where they'll lead.
At least Kyousou Giga remains great.
Oh, have you tried the list layouts?
emeraldrosary | 12-05-13, 4:52 AM
Alright., I'll take your word for it. Once again thanks for your help Jizzy!
I appreciate it :)
David101 | 12-05-13, 4:10 AM
My good sir, you have shitty taste and you don't really appreciate anime.
That is all
