LMAO - glasses do not a Harry Potter make. There's the whole scar thingy and all sorts of other stuff, so it'll have to be a no.

Archaeon | 09-01-11, 8:54 AM
LOL, no.

Archaeon | 08-31-11, 10:31 AM
I wear glasses. That's about the only similarity.

As for Code Geass, I didn't see anything wrong with their portrayal. It's fantasy/sci-fi so it's about as accurate a representation of Great Britiain as Naruto is about cars.

Like Keima? Hmmm...

The problem with characters like him is that the common perception only partially applies. He's not an otaku in the normal sense, but his character and personality do fit that of a true collector.

There are already words for that type of person, but in the one I've heard being used amongst some of the anime community is Holic (from the Clamp series xxxHOLiC). Apparently it means something like a cross between an addict and a collector.

LOL, not quite super saiyan, but if heavyweight boxers were allowed a cuppa in between rounds there would only ever be British world champions :P

Let me get this straight. You're asking what term I would use for people who find anime characters more attractive than humans?

I'd call them lonely.

LOL, no. I mean that to an Englishman, a simple cup of tea is equivalent to Popeye's spinach. Ever since the English made tea their national drink, many great figures from history have made their name using the power of the mystical brew. In a very real sense the Empire was only possible because of our national addiction to the stuff :P

Archaeon | 08-30-11, 1:30 AM
Erm, no. It serves no purpose imagining something like that so it's pointless continuing that discussion.

LOL, it can mean forte, but more often it's simply that a cup of tea can soothe many of the world's problems.

If both parties are adults then age can sometimes be irrelevant. Personally I couldn't see myself with anyone over five years younger than me (which is around 30).

You should google what a cup of tea means for an Englishman :P

Archaeon | 08-27-11, 5:23 PM
Marry her? Where on earth did that come from?

I was merely commenting on the fact that she and I were born on the same day, and that I'm 16 years older than she is.

You're American? Then you really should know what a cup of tea means to an Englishman. As for the bowler hat, they're a little out of style these days but they were synonymous with Britain for a long time.

Archaeon | 08-26-11, 12:07 PM
LOL

Tehnominator's not my little sister, but we do share the same birthday (although I'm a fogey compared to her).

As for my answer, well, both tea and bowler hats are very English things, so yes, I'm British.

Archaeon | 08-25-11, 6:36 AM
Was it the cup of tea or the bowler hat that gave it away?

ProAssAsSin | 08-21-11, 8:26 AM
thx for accept, nice to meet you :-)

Cholisose | 07-16-11, 10:33 AM
Ah, thanks for the info.
And yes, Hana to Akuma would be a GREAT anime! Especially since it's been completed, they can have a 26-episode series with the full story.

Cholisose | 07-05-11, 8:36 PM
Just wanted to say your signature made me lol.

Also: Hana to Akmua in your favorites for manga! I love that series! It was so adorable. I hope that it gets licensed Stateside.

I don't read manga online to much but Little Little looks short enough for a good start. Do you know where online I could read it? Or download it so I could read it on my iPod?

JoJo10 | 04-25-11, 12:04 PM
She is important overall but Touma>>>>than accelerator>>>>Index for everything. Everything that has happened has happened cuz Aleister Crowley planned for Touma to fight the people.

JoJo10 | 04-22-11, 9:15 PM
I wasn't disappointed since the eps followed the novels quite well but they were sorta like sacrifices to introduce many characters and things that are relevant later on to the story. So it started being generic im sure u noticed but thats all gone if a season 3 were to happen.

JoJo10 | 04-21-11, 3:11 AM
So u thought it wasn't as good as season one after ep 17?
