Some people are just incurably retarded, I'm afraid.
There needs to be a more feminine presence in animation I believe, for this to be reversed. We need more studios like Ghibli. Did you know the vast majority of animators at Ghibli are women? That's why I wanted to show you those Yoshiyuki Momose "Capsule" shorts that one time. The animation and style, though still "Ghibli" is so vibrantly feminine. For people like me that take animation way too seriously, Its like a blast of cold mountain air. Like in other fields where women are in the minority, bringing them and their talents more to the forefront and balancing the scales (perhaps even tilting them in thier favor, that, the anarchist that I am, I would love to see) will help reduce whatever this "cute girls doing cute things" mentality is. I just really love Miyazaki's studio. Its so stubbornly feminist and its lovely. |

Apparently the commercial gave so many people boners that they just clamored for an anime or what? That's pretty hilarious. I'll be watching it too.
for the um animation the main character of the episode's show is pretty kawaii is all i will say. |

Yeah we should definitely talk about all this sometime. It's actually really interesting stuff to me, believe it or not. I have an episode of a show I wanna watch with you when we do. I'd been meaning to show it to you for a while, since it relates to this stuff.
Haha well if you can sit through all that shit anime you somehow watched, you can sit through ROV. It really is a well done series. It just has things that bother us is all. Plus the sooner you do that the sooner you can watch that swimming anime for the story right? (I saw the original commercial it was really REALLY well animated. Also upperbodies) and I'll handle him. He just wants to defend his favorite show. It's understandable. |

i right-aligned my comments section and yeah its pretty enjoyable, in a sick kind of way, to watch people go from lol cute kitty to sobbing about baseball players. I watched this one gruff LP'er chick who was all "yeah bros what up lets play some OFF!" and she was downright sobbing by the end credits. Poor thing. Why is everything we love stained by the blood of children. |

Wow how does the white NOT hurt your eyes? I never realized I couldn't fucking stand it until I switched to black. (imperfect white background pictures were a necessary sacrifice for adding about 20 years to my eyesight life)

Heh, it's fine. Your concern makes me feel good~ I'll be honest, when I first heard about the Moore tornado, I wasn't sure exactly where it was myself.
On an unrelated note, you should check this guy out. He does literally the best acapella I've ever heard. He's also pumping out songs pretty quick it seems. I think you'd really like his stuff. Personal faves are the Chemical Plant one there, Stone Tower Temple, and Bloody Tears. |
