Hello mate! Damn it took a long time for me to get around to write this, but here I am! Sorry about that xD
So the past season is over and a new one begins. I pretty much agree with your assessment of the past season so let's just skip the redundancy and get to the good stuff: this season. So far I'm enjoying most shows, although at first I thought they would be too many to watch them all (I'm still somewhat struggling with that though :P). Anyway, my favourites so far are Hanasaku Iroha, Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai (OMG why is it that every season has a big ass title like this?? WHY?), Ao no Exorcist and Deadman Wonderland. As for the rest I pretty much like them all, except the generic harem one, Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi, and Dog Days. They just don't captivate me much. By the way, I dropped Azazel-san because I just don't have the time to watch all the shows - I might resume it later. As for the winter still airing shows, Gosick is as good as ever, but Beelzebub is seriously getting on my nerves... There's just nothing there, except lame jokes, overused puns and the same old crap every episode - something happens to baby, baby cries, baby releases lightning, everybody suffers. That's getting old pretty fast. There's nothing new to it. This might actually be the first show I've watched more than 10 eps that I drop. And I usually don't drop anything at all - either I watch it or I don't. Oh yeah as for Yumekui Merry and Freezing I agree wit you 100%, so no deviation there xD Although I fell in love with Freezing's OP theme "COLOR". It just proves bad shows can have good OPs, I guess... Congratulations on your Index II "campaign"!! xD The second season is really good, I won't even say anything as not to spoil it. It might get a bit confusing at times, but bear with it and it'll always wrap up nicely ;) And that's my report for now! I'll definitely keep commenting on the season as well as other stuff. By the way, I recently watched "Eden of the East" (first show I love saying the title in English xD) and I just loved it. The movies were kind of sub-par in comparison with the series, but overall it was pretty good. Well mate I'm off! If my download speeds weren't kind off today I would have watched more stuff, but hey, watcha' gonna do, right? Cya man ;) |

Onii-chan "somethingsomethingdarkside" - Didn't like it much. It was... weirdly "funny" at best, and as you said, the jokes get old pretty soon. From the title it seemed similar to "Ore no Imouto", but in the end it sucks. 6/10 for me (I don't actually rate anything bellow 6/10 because if that was the case I wouldn't even watch the show :P) Mitsudomoe 2 - I even forgot about this one because it only had 8 episodes. Still, I wholeheartedly agree with you, it's very funny. Still, only a 8/10 for me, because of the length. Dragon Crisis - Yeah... what started out as an interesting story, devolved into your generic romance anime, with no "shine" to it. It's a bit corny and, honestly, a bit lame. 7/10 for me. Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka? - Oh yes! This one is a good one! Albeit a bit weird and "pushy" at times (some of the jokes were done to death, no pun intended), it still managed to pull a reasonable plot. Plus, Hellscythe is "moelicious". An 8/10 for me. IS: Infinite Stratos - First let me tell you that I score stuff around my general enjoyment, and how much I look forward to the next episode. Having said that, IS managed to entertainment me somewhat, although it is a generic harem, only with mechas. Because of this I give it a 8/10. Hourou Musuko - I don't know if you noticed, but I droped this one. I really disliked the whole feel of it. Didn't connect with me. Not saying it's horrible, but certainly not good either. However, since I OCD about this stuff, I don't put shows in my "dropped" section; I just remove them altogether. Fractale - I agree with everything you said. One of the best Winter 2011 shows. The story was a bit weird but in panned out fine. And I loved the last episode. Only a 8/10 though; it really wasn't 9/10 material. Star Driver - Remember me telling you I didn't like this show? Yeah, not anymore. I freaking love it. Everything. The music, setting, story, characters, action scenes... You name it. If you look closely you realise this is just a kick-ass shounen show, but I think it has something else there... Can't quite explain it. A clear 9/10 for me. Bakuman - The plot could have moved faster. They dragged some stuff that didn't need to be dragged. Mashiro x Azuki needed more development. However, even though it was slow paced, I still liked it. It was a bit "meh" though... An 8/10 for me. Madoka Magica - I WANTZ THE FINAL EPISODES! Just waiting for that to (maybe...) give it a 10/10. Need I explain why? Didn't think so :P I won't pronounce myself about "Yumekui Merry" and "Freezing" yet because they are still airing. Same thing with "Gosick"; it's a 24 "episoder" after all. Oh, you really have to watch Toaru Majutsu no Index II!! I won't discuss this one here so as not to spoil it for you!! :P Well I haven't decided how many Spring shows I'm going to watch yet, I guess I'm going to "go with the flow" and see what happens. I do see myself liking "Hanasaku Iroha" a lot though. "Tiger & Bunny" seems interesting as well. Mate, keep the comments coming! I don't mind 30-feet tall ones, just keep 'em comin'! Hey my friend. I've just about finished watching all of the winter season's shows. I'm missing only those that are a bit late, those being "Yumekui Merry" and "Freezing" (although "Freezing" might come out today). Gosick will run for 24 episodes anyway and Madoka Magica has been suspended (:S). I'm telling you this because I want to share my opinions with you and discuss the overall greatness of this past season. Oh, as for Star Driver... I was so wrong about this show in the past. I bumped it to a 9/10 and I loved it. It started in the Autumn so it's not a winter anime, but even so, if it were, it would be my favourite (maybe second only to Toaru Majutsu no Index). Anyway, let's discuss! :P

Hey mate, long time no seeeeeee! It's cool though as I too have been busy, albeit due to my own laziness perhaps (most likely). Yeah, so about Madoka Magica... It's very sad. I am craving the ending soooo bad! Even got a mate of mine to watch it as well and he too agrees that it is purely awesome. I guess we'll have to wait it out :S
See, I knew you and me saw eye to eye! I too think that Sugata looks awesome as part of the Glittering Crux; I really liked that. Sure the clothes are weird, but his "betrayal" it makes the plot so much more amazing. Now the trio has been broken! Man this show sure is great. I see some Code Geass in it, but maybe I'm just seeing things (or maybe it's because Sugata's VA is no other than Jun Fukuyama, who is also the voice of Lelouch :P). But as I've said before, this series' plot sure makes you think about a lot of things... As for Bakuman... Well, sorry but my reaction is "Meh". Sure, it's entertaining. But it's not amazing. Plus, as you've said, the lack of development between Azuki and Mashiro is getting old. Well man, Index. Index 2 is a "gazillion" times better than the 1st one! Really! So amazing. Captivating plot, amazing art, well designed characters! Top notch, it really is. You should watch it. As for the rest of the shows I'll do the same as you, so we'll share our opinions when the season ends. Oh by the way, I've been reading the Haruhi Suzumiya novels at work (yes, at work xD) and I utterly recommend them to you. They are really, really good. I'm at the 6th novel, 3rd chapter which is about a guy that falls in love with Nagato! Did that get your attention? It should :P I didn't mean anything specific by psychologists having bad reputation. They just do overall. No one wants to go to a psychologist because they're afraid people will consider them crazy just for that, which is not true. Just because you visit one, doesn't mean you are "Hannibal Lecter" crazy. And here I thought I could make this comment short. Damn. I just can't. It's against my nature. My sincere apologies for that. Thanks for your support on my chosen career I hope it'll turn out ok! Oh dear me. I come to you today with a heavy heart... Did you know? Madoka Magica has been postponed indefinitely. What a damn shame. I hope they won't cancel it; at least end the freaking show first!
Well I guess the whole situation in Japan sucks right know, so I shouldn't be complaining. |

Hey there, sorry I'm replying so late but I've been busy as of late with an International fair that's going on over here so I got a bit carried away :P
Man... See what I mean about Madoka Magica? That episode was SICK(!). Sickly awesome that is, of course! I mean... wha-? Who? You know? No words man, no words at all. In some ways Homura is kind of like me, for I too would do anything for the people I love, but... I would be totally fraked up in the "head department" because of that. In a way Homura has a lot of courage and determination, but will she eventually crack? Only time will tell I guess... The thing I loved most about the episode is that, not only did we learn about the back story, we were also given a glimpse into the future, and the whole major battle that is going to happen. And now do you realise what I meant about Kyubey? That character is ambiguously "evil". More like "emotionless" but you know what I mean right? This was a good episode indeed. Worth the 9/10 on its own for sure. As for Star Driver, I think we got ourselves one of those "Watching from Afar" type of characters. That is obvious from the whole theatre play (which is a huge metaphor by the way) and the dialogue at the end of the episode. I guess we'll have to wait and see what will happen. I am more bumped by the fact that Index II is almost over! No!!!! My Index! My Misaka! My Kuroko! I need my weekly fix of "Majustsu no Index"... Bakuman is already confirmed to have a 2nd season, and Star Driver might just end in one. But Index.. Come on! Anyway, I'll have Victorique to soothe my heart as long as Index isn't back... Ahhh, Moe... Could I live without you know? Art thou such a part of my heart, that I would die shall thou disappear from the face of the Earth? I'm even starting to speak in ancient english... Vet, Det er virkelig ikke en klassisk mahou shoujo anime.. Den er mye mer dyster.. Første episode gjorde meg ikke akkurat kjempeinnteresert men man skal aldri dømme en serie utifra under 10 episoder.. Med mindre den er under 10 episoder da x) Helt enig med deg, Elsker Madoka, Utrolig bra anime.. Håper hun blir en MS snart da.. Vet, Haha, Den scenen var bare utrolig.. Jeg lo noe veldig.. Men det gjorde jo de også etterpå da.. Syntes litt synd på jenta da.. Angående slutten på Bakuman, Ja det blir vel ikke morsomt.. Men.. Jeg gleder meg til 2. sesong ;) Hva jeg hører på? Jpop, JTrance, Jrock noe Jrap og ellers noen ballader.. jeg ka stort sett høre på alt.. ;) Sett den første episoden på Hourou Musuko så langt.. Men den var litt kjedelig jeg holdt på og sovne i første episode.. Vet du om den Blir den noe bedre? På dropped lista mi har jeg bare den ja.. Grunnet atdet var alt for mye drama i den.. Jeg så 23 episoder men så greide jeg ikke og unngå og sjekke spoilere ut av frustrasjon pga alt dramaet.. Fikk vite slutten.. NO WAY.. Dette var ikke verdt det.. Liksom når du sr en romance anime da forventer du at hoved karakterene ska ende opp sammen iallifall.. Vet, Skull bare ønske de ga opp håpet på oss tidligere.. x) Kunne skaffet meg en mye tv og tvspill tid.. Nei, Jeg har langferie :D Ferie helt til August nå PGA at jeg tok meg friår i fjord..:o<3 |

So you're finally watching Index eh? I thought weird you didn't watch it even though you did Railgun. It's a pretty good show so I'm happy you're watching it. As for NGE, I believe I've told you this before, but I think it's worth saying it again: be careful of brainmelts! Seriously. It's a damn good anime though, 9/10 all the way! The last episode of Madoka Magica was just awesome. I mean, you kind of knew that blood and gore was gonna show up, but never like that! Homura looked gangsta cappin' that ass! Bam bam bam! And then Kyuubey eats his clone! WTH?? Weird and awesome at the same time. Freaky too~ As for wishes, nothing better comes to mind than: "Be careful what you wish for..." Oh, yes, I too think that Madoka is quickly becoming the most irritating character ever. For various reasons... Well, I'm not a psychologist no. I just really love philosophy! That's why I can talk like that I guess, hehe :P - Even better to know that I clarified stuff for you! I did think about becoming a psychologist, but I didn't... Wanna know why? Because they have bad reputation! I'm looking into becoming a paramedic or an EMT instead. Wish me luck! Well then I'll leave ya alone for now! Hahaha, Yeah I don't know what happened there but I did find it weird you didn't mention Madoka Magica at all. Just for a second, I thought you weren't even watching it (which would have been a shame really...)!
I too want "Magica" by Kalafina. I did not know it was out already; although gg subs version has those commercials, which should have been a pointer... god I'm an idiot!. Well nevermind that. As for Hourou Musuko, even if I don't find it particularly exciting I still like the music. But my favourite ED so far, with the exception of "Magica" (just so badass!) is Fractale's ending song, which is based on a poem by "William Butler Yeats" (check out more background on the song here). And now the though subject: souls. You see I kinda already know a certain spoiler about Kyubey so I might be a bit biased in my comments right now. The truth is, however, I don't agree OR disagree with his actions. In the end nobody forced them to become MS (abbreviated for convenience), and although he didn't tell them about the "Soul Swap" thing, they didn't really ask the specifics either, did they? They kinda just jumped at the opportunity to have one of their wishes come true; just like moths to the flame... Kyubey knows his shite! But, well... You see, humans are "picky" when it comes to their souls. They don't like when someone messes with theirs. I think Sayaka reacted as she did more out of shock than actual disgust. Of course she doesn't like it, but she's realised she couldn't be a MS otherwise. This is also where I agree with Kyubey: they couldn't fight witches if they still had their souls in their body. Was there, maybe, another way to make them impervious to pain? Yes, perhaps, but Kyubey is not human, so he thought that it was okay to mess with their souls (at least it seems so, for the mean time...). As this is getting long let me summarise: It's all about perception. Humans perceive things in different ways. Some will rage at Kyubey, some will go "carebox!". I do not think that removing their souls for their body is the payment - fighting witches is. The soul thing was merely a tool. Now let me say this, I DO NOT like Kyubey for various reasons, but he didn't force anyone to become anything. Sayaka chose her fate. It's a shame really, that her wish might not exactly pan out as she wanted it to... You see wishes are like that - either you say EXACTLY what you want, or you're bound to get something a bit different (just look at the Red-Haired MS... I forget her name :P). Well that was painstakingly long! Damn! But I hope that clarified my point of view. I guess I could have just said "Nothing is just Black and White in this world... Nothing". Woooo! This season is GREAT. I mean I like all shows with (perhaps) the exception of 1 or 2 shows, no more than that. I am absolutely in love with Gosick (yeah yeah, I'm a Lolicon... I made my peace with it), Fractale, Madoka Magica... Oh hell, all of 'em! I am not too excited about say, Hourou Musuko and Freezing (too much fan-service...) but I still watch them. But really, the majority is absolutely amazing. Since we're talking about Nº1's, I must say Gosick is mine as well! Such a good show. Mystery with a Loli. Hum... Quite "Delicious". But closely behind is Madoka Magica which just blows my mind. I hope it'll have a 2nd season because I don't see 12 episodes being nearly enough for such an anime. By the way, you're welcome about the website :P I didn't even remember I had told you about it xD Well that's it for me. Sorry for the half-assed reply but I have a lot of stuff going on right now. Lurt, Ikke bra og droppe en serie om du ikke har sett nok til og dømme den enda.. En feil som er helt forferdelig og gjøre.. Likte ikke Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica noe spesielt når den kom ut, Men de siste episodene har den begynt og vokse på meg.. Ingen vanlig shoujo anime.. Enig<3 Elsker Bakuman. Litt synd på Mashiro da som ikke får ha noe kontakt med Azuki da.. Hva synes du om den siste Bakuman Episoden til nå? Vel, Det har vel min også til del og tids.. Men jeg tror ikke de noen gang kommer til og bli vamt til det.. Jeg mener, OK Jeg hører japansk musikk men de lar meg aldri ta med CDer når vi er ute på bilturer osv.. Takk og lov for mp3 spillere\mobiler. :D Takk<3 Alltid sett på Zelda som tidenes beste spill.. Ikke bare nintendo men beste i generelt.. mere som det er enda en interesse jeg har som familien min ikke støtter meg på noe spesielt. x) Selvsagt, Har allerede ryddet en plass til både 3DS en og OOT'3D spillet :D Skal være førsteman i butikken som kjøper det <3 Men det er vel ikke så uvanlig og ha et par 2-3 backupspill :D;) Samme her, Mens mine venniner lekte politi og tyb og men barbie dukker satt jeg men ansiktet plantet på zelda skjermen.. Har vert Zelda hekta siden jeg var 5 år gammel og spilte OOT for første gang..Jeg var alltid den som greide alle bossene de andre i familien min ikke greide x) Jeg vet ikke sant? The professor guy from H.O.T.D. has got to be one of my least favourite characters, mainly because I hate manipulating bastards like him that take advantage of a bad situation, just to crown themselves "king". God-damned bastard. I hope he gets killed by zombies sloooooowly (I know... I evil :P). "Nom nom nom", is what the zombies will say! So, watching Pokémon are we? I can't lie and say I never really got curious to watch it again (or even the new seasons). A while back I was in a mood to re-watch Digimon all over again, so I get where you come from with this. Even so, I hope you enjoy it :P By the way, did you watch Dragon Crisis 4? It was really nice, with that little (understatement) beach fan-service. Boy, Rose looks good with a Bikini on. Crap... Please, please tell me I'm not becoming a lolicon... It's bad enough I'm addicted to tsunderes and (to a lesser extent) cat-girls, adding "lolicon" to the mix would be very, very bad... Bah, no matter! That's what I get for being an otaku... "To be shunned by my peers, 'twas what I feared the most!". Hehehe, cheers mate, keep safe ;) |

Want to know something cool? I just had Yakisoba (Tarayaki flavor) for lunch. Oh yeah! Great stuff. That plus Chicken Noodlez (I refuse to use anything other than Konata's "Noooodlez!"). Yummy. The irony is that I only found out today that my supermarket sells this stuff. I have been going there for 12 years and I never noticed it. Then again I wasn't looking, heh. Now to kick back, enjoy my weekend, and watch some quality anime. Possibly games later. Yep, I have been yearning for some gaming lately.
How about you? Have you ever eaten Yakisoba or Noodles? Or any other Japanese food? If you haven't, let me tell you this: it's worth a try! Joda jeg holder øyne oppe på de nye animene.. Jeg holder øye med et par av dem selv om jeg har vert utrolig opptatt i det siste.. Dette beklager jeg virkelig.. Jeg ser på: Starry Sky Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magika Onii-chan No Koto Nanka Zenzen Suki Janain Dakara Ne!! Bakuman. og jeg skal se Hourou Musuko når jeg kommer etter :D Bakuman er en utrolig anime spesielt utrolig at det er av samme skaper som Death Note. Sa det blir vell de :D Slik er det til meg også, Og dette gjør familien sprø.. Hver gang jeg går inn på badet tar jeg med telefonen og setter på musikk så de bare ''Ja Monja er der inne'' lol Vet alt om det at musikksamlingen vokser, Er så utrolig mye bra japansk musikk.. Er ikke noen kjempefan av engelsk musikk lengre.. Og spesielt ikke Norsk.. Er enig, Skyward Sword vill bli et av 2011's høydepunkt for meg. sitter allerede og ser for meg eventuelle vrier.. Men jeg er ikke helt sikker på om Zelda vill være i dette spillet. Det blir ikke det samme uten henne så jeg håper ikke de gjentar den samme feilen som de gjorde i Majoras Mask.. Det siste jeg kjøpte akkurat nå var Super Mario 64 på virtual console sammen med Ocarina of Time. Jeg har dem begge fra før men jeg vill ha reserver i tilfelle de orginale spillene streiker eller slutter og fungere.. Og tro meg, Det var lurt pla at noen dager etter at jeg kjøpte det streiker oot spillene mine. Vel, det går nok bra.. Jeg elsker spill.. Det har faktisk vert en flaw jeg har hatt siden tidlig alder.. Når andre jenter lekte med Barbier satt jeg og rundet Ocarina of Time.. Det gikk mamma og papa fra vettet.. ''hvorfor må hun alltid skille seg ut slik'' ^^ Noe bekjentskap i dette? :) Jeg elsker Zeldaspill og kjøper alt som revolverer rundt dette.. Ser jeg et Zeldaspill på butikken kjøper jeg det.. Selv om jeg har det fra før.. Jeg har 4 versjoner av TP av denne grunn.. :D Har Også 3 versjoner av Ocarina of Time. Har også Super Mario Galaxy og jeg rundet det etter 1 måneds tid.. Jeg elsket den historien til Rosalina.. Den er så søt. <3 Nei ikke ver redd for der.. Mere som Jeg beklager mitt ultrasene svar.. Well Dragon Crisis! is pretty good, but I still feel weird when I'm watching it. Rose is a happy-go-lucky "dragon" apparently, so that's good. And the "chained suki's" were pretty nice. Just hearing Kugimiya-san's voice shouting all that stuff made me feel nostalgic for Taiga... Ah Tsunderes... Wait! No! Bloody hell, I can't think about that now. Right... Back on topic: yes DC is good. But as you said it did feel kinda rushed, but hopefully it'll get better. As for Mami from Madoka Magica, she didn't just die, she had her freaking head ripped off! I was so surprised, even though I knew the anime was deceptive; I just didn't expect that! Like, wham! Head off, and her body dangling there... Creepy. As you said, Majou Shoujo is serious shite apparently. They would fit well in the Higurashi world xD I don't have much to say about Zombie Desu ka. I keep my opinion that it'll turn into an harem. Now, will it turn into a generic harem? That I do not know, but my money is on "no". As for Infinite Stratos, it is still amazing even with the computer generated graphics. And you have to love the "First Childhood Friend" thing. It sounded like an NGE reference all the way. Good stuff ;) No problems about the late reply. I don't make an habit of demanding "on time" replies from anyone, or as I call it, "The Facebook Syndrome"... Guuuh... Creepy. Don't know why people use Facebook anyway. But then again, I am an hermit. And I just realised I overuse the word "and" and I use to much italic. Ah did it again! Three cheers for redundancy! Yeah, the rest of the shows look good so far. I agree with you on "Freezing", the excessive fan-service is, well... Freaking EXCESSIVE! Like, what the hell? They actually have a good story going on there, they don't need that fan-service to top it off. I'm afraid they will suffer from HotD syndrome: having a good plot but actually ruining the good stuff with stupid fan-service (that's why I prefer the HotD manga, it's much better in this aspect). Not that HotD was bad mind you... It's just it could have been more serious at times. Beelzebub rocks. As simple as that. I too though it was going to be some generic "braindead" (thanks I was looking for that word xD) comedy. It reminded me of mainstream crap, which I hate, but I'm glad I was wrong. And you are absolutely right, the kid has some "Pika-pika" action going on! As for Dragon Crisis!, Rose had better turn into a Tsundere or else I'm dropping this show! Kugimiya Rie is the queen of Tsundere! She cannot be denied! Other than that, the fact that she shouts "Ryuuji, Ryuuji" all the time makes me remember about Aisaka and Louise, which is always good. Ah~ I love "Tsundere-ness". Hell with moe I "wantz" Tsundere! I don't watch Level E. Don't know why. Don't like it. I'm weird? Maybe. Well Zombie desu ka is good but I can see it becoming you generic harem pretty fast, so I'm kind of skeptical about it... We'll wait and see I guess. Well, that's it for me! I hope you enjoy the shows a lot (even the bad ones... I'm that nice!) and I look forward to your opinion in the following weeks. Let's keep the discussion flowing! Hehe, cheers mate. |

I will divide this comment in topics for simplicity: -- IS Infinite Stratos: Pretty good! Got me hooked right in the first episode an not many anime tend to do that to me. By the way it's not an harem at all... /sarcasmoff :P I do wish I was that guy though... -- Madoka Magica: I am of the same opinion! I sort of knew it wasn't going to be you're normal Magical Girl anime but, this looks promising! The music is also very good which is kind of surprising, heh. -- Yumekui Merry: At first I was skeptical, but after a while I saw the potential of it. I'm interested in knowing more about these characters expecially the main's ability to predict dreams(?). -- Gosick: It's good but not great in my opinion. Mind you, this can change as it seems it will. But for a first episode I wasn't something groundbreaking. I will continue to watch it though. Ah that's my initial "review"! Even if you don't have much time I would like to discuss these anime with you and read your opinion of them. Just pop a comment whenever you can :P Lot's more to come on the next few weeks!
