I'm familiar with Moebius, but I don't think I've read anything by Druillet. Well, the art in Landed is great so Ultra Heaven will probably be very good too.

Knife | 06-15-10, 7:43 AM
Hey, I accepted your friend request. I saw your recommendation for Ultra Heaven and added it to my plan to read list when I saw someone was scanlating it at Manga Updates.

Kirahito | 06-13-10, 11:56 AM
btw i added you on Msn XD so wassup with you? im just catching up on some Zetman. OH! idownloaded your recommended mangas and i will be cheking out some of those :)

Kirahito | 06-13-10, 1:32 AM
Yes, you find about more about Shiro and ganta and their relatonship with the deadmans. You should try reading it again, you may end up taking a liking to it again, my favorite character Crow and as well as the rest of the characters find out about there past as to why they are in prison.

Kirahito | 06-12-10, 10:00 PM
It looks like me and you have alot in common :D

kaara-san | 06-11-10, 12:32 AM
Thanks anyway. I'll just have to keep looking.

kaara-san | 06-10-10, 4:49 PM
$15?! Wow! Yes, I know it's out of print for a while now. That's why I'm shocked you found a volume at that price. The cheapest I came across - not on ebay - was around $50 ou $60....you didn't happen to find another cheap Four Shojo Stories? ;)

kaara-san | 06-10-10, 2:36 PM
Hope you don't mind me asking...I read on the HGM that you bought 'Four Shojo Stories', was it very expensive? I searched for the book in ebay but the prices were too high for me.

earthbender068 | 06-09-10, 7:33 AM
how was AZ for you? i had a blast. i think it was my best one yet!

Arekusu | 03-09-10, 6:24 AM
I'll definetly give it another go after I finish some more series that are on the queue (the first one of them being Serial Experiments Lain). I don't know what I expected from Ergo Proxy back when I saw the first episode, nor I know what I expect now from it - I just don't expect. It wouldn't be the first time when I can't watch a series the first time but, later, it just fits in nicely.

Arekusu | 03-07-10, 1:58 PM
90.7, Amazingly high is amazing. Why would you recomend Ergo Proxy? Just watched the first ep and found nothing really interesting in it.

FallnKnightFakir | 03-06-10, 9:29 AM
Hmm, I see your dilemma with Ode to Kirihito. I'm not in a position to care as much though since I already have the one big edition form of it anyway and would recommend it in that form just fine so I'm guessing this will come down to you. Either way it's amazing and you should get it. I think Drifting Life was kinda awkward to read though because it was 800 pages thick, Ode to Kirihito is about 600 pages and wasn't as bad, but it seems the more pages there are, the bigger the book needs to be if you ask me. Somehow, Ode to Kirihito came off as less awkward for me to read than MW though (hardcover on MW maybe?)

Greaaat, now I get to be officially mad at Borders for having their website lie about their in store stocks! Oh well, I still had that lovely gift card waiting to be used so I ordered them both online for $17.95 (after gift card and 30% off coupon) + free shipping! Still not a bad price, I read maybe 3/4 of the first volume somewhat rushed that one time. I hope it'll get here by the weekend!

Now I have to figure out how I'd store it in my collection, I don't like how the spine runs in the exact opposite direction of every other manga in existence. Dammit, Interstella 5555 did the same thing so I just put that one in upside down, lol

FallnKnightFakir | 03-03-10, 1:45 PM
YES! I put a hold of the copy of "A Distant Neighborhood" at the Borders near me! My friend will drive me over there in a few hours and then I can finally get it! I had read some of it in the store and thought "I would get this right now if it weren't $23".

Last weekend, I had to return a book to Borders that my friends got for me that I already had a copy of (Apollo's Song, I just don't need two of them) and they had sold that one copy they had of volume 1 at the Borders I returned Apollo's Song to! That really pissed me off, but I got $21.15 on a store credit (because I purposely returned it in a state with higher tax) and now I'm going to get Distant Neighborhood with no tax at the Borders nearer my dorm! I'm glad I started rambling to you on here because I almost forgot to print out the coupon (30% off, pretty good one, means I'll still have money left on that card)

Oxiclean | 03-01-10, 1:14 AM
For some reason I felt like maybe we had noticed that before, but couldn't quite remember.

Oxiclean | 02-28-10, 8:22 PM
Just realized me,and you share a state together.

Awesome'ness.

Dille | 02-21-10, 12:16 AM
Nop. Scanning would be a waste of your time. All Illuminati-Manga needs is the translation, cause GGpx(leader of Illu) bought the Japanese volume and I cleaned it... unfortunately there is no one that wants to translate it.
All you need to do, to be a hero, is take pictures of chapters 13-19 with your photocamera. :D

Dille | 02-20-10, 1:16 AM
I can see that you have the first volume of What a Wonderful World... are you planing to buy the second one too?

YoungVagabond | 02-03-10, 11:59 PM
Damn dude; if you're going to change your name, have it be something cooler than "Danish". I mean, does that even refer to the nationality, or the delicious cookie?

Origami_Cyclone | 02-03-10, 6:16 PM
Yeah, its a real trip. If you find it cheap (I got it for $9) its worth it (its a little short). It has its own wierd inner logic..like when youre in a dream and it makes total sense until you wake up. I'm surprised it's not listed on MAL tho, it redirects you to another work
