My apologies, that comment was intended for some other review or recommendation on that page. Something about connecting I think it was Hen Koi with Nozoki Ana because they both contain lust. I thought that was stupid because these two manga are entirely different beasts.

Wow, I'm impressed. Your well informed. That must have been why I was confused. Now that I think about it I mostly just saw DBZ on the tv and only a little bit of Dragonball. I live in Canada so pertty west I would say. :)

This is insanity! You 've watched more anime then I have. And not even by a little amount. Of coure I didn't include any hentai so.... Not because I didn't watch any but because I peronally feel like they don't really count as anime. Tell me what yuo think, what you recomend, anything. When did you start watching anime? Lets start there. :)

Regarding your comments: Key: Glad you enjoyed their series, and I can understand the melodramatic comment, but they are great series. You've seen Clannad, but the sequel is twice as good and while few and far-between, the funny moments are really memorable, sincere and appreciated. The one at the end of episode 4 was hilarious. Kanon(2006) I still have to watch. Air was shorter than their other series, but it had some good comedic moments. It may have been a little cutesy and melodramatic, but there was some great emotion in the last few episodes. Kyoto Animation: Alright. Besides that series, they have a few new animes that are being aired that look really good, including Nichijou, Hyōka, and Chūnibyō Demo Koi ga Shitai! Makoto Shinkai: The Place promised in our early days, in my opinion was better than 5 Centimeters Per Second. Also I still have to see Voices of a Distant Star. As well, Children who Chase Lost Voices (From Deep Below) was just released and should be available soon. Metropolis may be an old anime, but it is a fabulous film. I may even call it a masterpiece. And yes, Tokyo Fathers was also an excellent movie. As for a few other anime I can recommend: The Sky Crawlers Ghost in the Shell Last Exile Steamboy And thanks. I look forward to those recommendations. |

First of all, great profile image. Where's it from? Also what's your favourite genre of anime and manga? And, based on your anime list, I have a few recommendations. Anything by Key. (I saw you watched Clannad and Kanon (2006). I recommend Clannad: After Story, Air, and Angel Beats). Anything by Kyoto Animation. (Particularly The Melancholy and the Dissappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya). Anything you haven't watched from Studio Ghibli. (Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke). Anything from Makoto Shinkai. (His films are on par with Studio Ghibli. He's being called the New Miyazaki). Metropolis. (Created by what was known as the Godfather or Japanese Animation). Tokyo Godfathers. (A strange art style, but an excellent movie). |
