well guten tag! I'm learning German and Japanese for fun. I hope to travel sometime soon and both Germany and Japan are places I want to go so I need to speak native tongue. Anyway I have a book shelf now so I'm about to fill it with manga and what I have my sights set on are all the manga that have not been turned into anime like Darker than Black: Shikkoku no Hana. I remember you having quite the collection, I feel a challenge haha.

I watched The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and I'm about mid point in Darker than Black. And whats in common about both those shows? talking cats! I know what you mean. I'm into a lot of on going animes because Jacob likes it hardcore so I follow up with him! however! I got some exciting news!! on the 20th of January there is going to be a anime convention called Bak-anime. I already got 2 other people watching Soul Eater! so Im going as Free the Immortal and my friend is going as Dr. Franken Stein! and the other might be going as Death the Kid.
Im thinking if you and Jacob join. You should be Erika Frog lol or who ever else you want to be, and Jacob will be who ever the hell he wants :D anyway I need your number so we can fan girl over anime! |

To tell the truth im going to watch Fairy Tail but I got all caught up on Soul Eater. I decided to read the manga because the story doesn't end the way the Anime did!
It turns out the in the Manga after "the battle for Brew" the story line completely changes. Medusa gives her self up to the DWMA and tells them that 3 witches actually live in Death City in plain site! two of them are the two girls that you always see Maka's father with. And the other one is actually Kim (the female Death Meister who uses the weapon named Jackie). Death and Maka's father want to know why she is doing this and she tells them she Arachna has something she wants. When Medusa gains some trust with them she offers terms, She offers the location of Arachna in return if she gets to lead a group of her selected Death Meister's into Arachna's base to stop the Kishin. So both sides team up to take down Arachna because in the middle of the mission Medusa tells everyone that the reason why she gave up everything to the DWMA was because Archana plans to Sacrifice Crona! OMG! So Medusa, Eruka Frog, Free (the man with the demon eye) and Mizune team up with Maka, Kid and Blackstar (including their weapons) to save Crona (also Ox Ford and Kilik Rung join them to save Kim who joined Arachna because she and her weapon had no where else to go). |

Ive seen a couple animes that go through that theme too! in the Alabasta Arc in One Piece, they all wear desert clothing. In Naruto the sand village's population wear similar clothing and in Desert Punk... well it takes place in the desert haha but the show your watching seems to have characters who are named after heros like Sinbad.
Anyway back to the subject of Soul Eater. HOLY CRAP! I loved it so much! Blackstar was kinda like Naruto, Kid was all awesome with his reputation as being the son of Death. and Soul and Maka were amazing being the main characters of the show, I want another Soul Eater series!!! why do the best shows have to end :( |

I think the strongest part of the show was the characters and im still watching it so I cant say who the mvp was during the battle with Medusa so ill have to get back to you on that!

Yea that's the thing about long animes. You have to get past the beginning episodes before some big things really happen. By the way I'm on season 3 of Soul Eater already! I love it haha all the characters are cool and fun in there own way so it makes the show really re-watchable. Favorite supporting character has to be Frankenstein! but Excalibur is super funny! anyway I gotta continue Fairy Tail after.

Haha I love fairy Tail so far, it has a good plot and fun characters. But I hope it goes through some long story arcs with awesome battles and great story telling like One Piece does.
And I got my friend Josh to start watching One Piece because I forced him to yohoho! It funny you said that because sometimes you got to! |

I plan on watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood but I also heard a lot of good things about Soul Eater! I just began Fairy Tail but I might watch Soul Eater back to back with it.
How ever! I already began watching Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and its great! have you ever tried to explain an anime to a friend who doesn't really know what anime is but dislikes it just because its animated? uhh if only they understood us anime fans. |

Thanks for helping! It seems like they have a bunch of WWII animes and ones that take place during the 1800's but nothing too ancient. I guess that's a anime concept someone will come up with soon!
