Sorry, I'm not going to quit anime completely and definitely not for a while anyways. By forever, I meant not watching anime excessively and attentively as I am now. I might pick up one or two shows per season but I'll probably limit myself to that. The reason for LoGH is that I heard it's the apex of the medium and I wish to get lots out of it, for sure. So no worries, I'm still going to see the major shows like NGE finish along with shows I possibly hear good things about, but otherwise, I'm not going to be a masochist and pick up shows I haven't heard appreciative things about.
After all, 4.0 is going to be a mindscrewing experience that no NGE fan would want to miss :p. |

Also, I've been considering it for a while now, and meant to say it earlier, but I'll probably watch LoGH as my retiring anime for-(ever?) since these new TV Series are getting more and more bland the more older anime I watch. I'll try to tune in on movies and such (4.0), but initiating, completely new franchises are too generic nowadays. But, I'm sure LoGH will deliver. |

Well that's a rather persevering path you'd led on before. I mean, 110 episodes is enough time to finish 10 average lengthened TV Series, which is a lot! I'm looking for an intelligent anime to watch during the summer, do you recommend LoGH; precisely, in which aspects do you think it's intelligent enough perhaps? Having to watch the entirety of a franchise is pain-staking and at least it doesn't apply to shows like 1piece(since its never ending) ^.^
Mayouu is decent, but it lacks the chemistry and quirkiness which made spice and wolf such an enjoyable run. Thus far, I've liked Mayouu for its persistent world exploring, slice of life feel; it may sound a bit bland but you should at least check out Mayouu if you liked S&W. Most of the problems trace back to the fact that the main female entrepreneur isn't Holo anymore, but rather yet another chick who gets teased for her huge b0.0bs |

I was planning to slack off and let Versailles sink into my backlog but decided to start this journey a bit earlier due to its length. :p On the subject of lengthy anime, I see that you actually finished Legend of Galactic Heroes a while ago. What did you think of that? |

Sorry I was busy earlier today freaking about that 12/11/12 apocalypse n all.
I don't love Asuka to the point of having her as my waifu, sadly, but I do consider her a lovely addition to my fiery passion for gingers :d. I just hope you don't convert on me because it happened once where my friend suddenly changed sides, became an Reifag, and we haven't spoken since then. Something about his antisocial self desiring pity acquaintances? I just did some research on Aku No Hana, and really appreciate the news! It sounds extravagantly different from mushishi but definitely something I'll look forward to. |
