I liked Bake the best as well. Nise's "toothbrush" scene was a howler for me....I could not stop laughing! One of the funniest scenes in all anime IMO. But, I am 66 and I cannot be offended by anything! LOL
Yes, from what I have read, Kizu will be out this year and so will Bake's sequel. I forget where I read that, but I have real hopes for more Bake-like story with Hitagi and Araragi interplay. That is what made Bake so good!!!! |

Hey, I read your Nekomonogatari Kuro review! I liked that story. It was definitely better than Nisemonogatari but I saw it as on a par with Bakemonogatari. I gave it a 9, same as Bake, but it would be on the low end of 9 whereas Bake is on the high end. Even Nise, with an 8 , is pretty good though It got that 8 for one episode....the one with Shinobu and Araragi in the tub together. That was a pretty moving scene. I'm looking forward to Kizumonogatari which goes into the Araragi/Shinobu story much more. Thanks for the review.

I gave Usagi Drop a 10 and Aishiteruze Baby a 9. But, I loved them both. So, you saw Baby as more mature as well. I thought pretty much the same as you. It deals with some topics that would take someone in their 20's to really relate to and enjoy.

Hey, long time! I read your Aishiteruze Baby review! Bingo. This is a great story and a real sleeper. I wish more would view it as it is very high quality work. Yuzuyu is precious and a real gem of a character. Her only parallel in anime would be Rin from Usagi Drop.
