Ah I see. I'm not a big fan of music style series although one of the best I've seen is NANA so if it's similar to that, I'll definitely give it a shot. I haven't watched either Nodame or Beck yet though so I might keep an eyeo n those as well.

Oh I forgot to add this in earlier but what do you think of Sakamichi no Apollon so far?
Some friends of mine have been praising it while some others said it was crap. I have it on "plan to watch" right so in other words, the unsure whether to watch or not category. |

Ye, I agree with the character development part as there seems to be just concentrating on matches rather than interactions with characters. I read the manga so far and have to say that it definitely is better especially the more brutal scene involving Kakeru's accident.
As for comedy, I did not find Seto no Hanayome funny at all. Well, I guess it was when I watched it, I just didn't see any of the other humor I found in School Rumble, Toradora, Hayate the Combat Butler, etc. I kinda started avoiding watching any parody/comedy series (if it's part of the main theme) starting this year. As for sports fan, I do like a lot of sports anime as well although it's not something I watch often. I did enjoy watching Suzuka quite a lot and some of Air Gear/ :P |

Yes, that was a great anime, I really loved it. It has it's flaws, but in the end, it's a great anime to watch.
I can see where you're comming from with the happy ending and I agree with you. I wouldn't say it was a sad ending, there was just too much drama for me to bear. XD About the lenght, well, I don't think it would have been good, if the anime would have been longer, because it would've just repeated itself over and over: try to find out Menmas wish, fail, try to find out Menmas wish, fail, and so on. So, I think it's good it only has 11 episodes, but sure one of the best dramas in a while. |

Well yeah, I think the end might come soon and I tell you: if Takumi joins the pros, the end will suck! -_- As for me, I think the idea of an immortal legend on the street is much cooler. :3 But the 86 might not survive for long anymore, so it might turn into a nice end, if they let the 86 die and Takumis vanishes from the street with a legendary record that will be remembered for decades. Don't you think this would be so much cooler instead of joining the pros? :(
I have my doubts the gutter run will even work in real life. The car will probably just slow down. |
