He was a very talented filmmaker,I have to say that my favorite film that he made would his movie Stalker.

I hope you enjoy it. The only "flaw" with it is that it isn't readily accessible to very many people, requires a LOT of patience, requires a lot out of the viewer as a whole, and also asks the viewer to ‘meet it halfway’ in terms of conveying meaning.

Question: Have you ever seen any of Andrei Tarkovsky's films?

Karhu | 10-30-12, 4:28 PM
Hah, yeah. One of my IRL friend reminds me to read the newest chapters every once in a while. It's usually Wednesday night when he starts with something like "you don't fucking believe what Kubo did this time." Or something like that. :p

Sure, lets see what kinda thoughts I have to share about it whenever I manage to complete it. Not my top priority at the moment. Well, I don't really have any top priority but I don't believe I'm going to complete asap either. Agreeing all the time is no fun anyway.

Kaze no Stigma was enjoyable because the MC guy alone. Such an entertaining badass. Not sure would I think so positively about it if I were to rewatch, but other that I enjoyed the fuck out of it even though I consider it as an average. DenYuDen was lot like that as well. Lute was surprisingly interesting character, but the last episodes of the series were beyond disappointing. Such a shame the production was cut out.

Tonari is most likely the best series from this season. My experience from shojo rom-coms comes from manga I've read. Around 100 shojo titles so I guess half of those were rom-com type of series. Tonari is way above average shojo series and atm above average series in generally. I'm excited about it, waiting for new episodes eagerly.

Tempest is quite typical show from Bones, in my eyes at least. While the story and characters are flawed the series is fascinating and has it's own quite magical beauty which Bones often manages to create anyway. My rating for it atm is mainly based to how promising I think it is. I'm hoping it takes the Wolf Rain's route and manages to surprise as it did.

Psycho-Pass I skip'd it from the watchable-looking shows of the season. It simply reminds me too much of Guilty Crown when it comes to the art and design, and it is also sci-fi (even though GC wasn't much of a sci-fi) from the same studio so yeah. Your impression of it doesn't sound like a enjoyment either so I'm just grinning and turning my gaze to the more interesting looking series.

LB, I was actually very interested about this since I seem to hate both, Maeda Jun and J.C.Staff so this should have been a must watch for me obviously, but the criticism it got already means that people know it is shit and I don't have to check and confirm it. Not completely serious now, but anyway. I will be avoiding it.

SAO, lol'd, Sugou is quality, man. Its deep and thought-provoking philosophical themes such as online harem society and tentacle boogie monsters are being beyond educational. The series is so bad that making fun of it isn't exciting even. It doesn't annoy me so I'm just enjoying the ride even though some of the episodes have been godawful, but then again dei ex machina and melodrama, fuckyeah.

Robotics;Notes is simply pokemon + star driver. Ep2 made it look a potential show, but ep3 quite brought down those hopes. K is the anime of the year. Neko service, shonen ai and decent production values, Japan appreciates. But yeah, Uchuu Kyoudai is such a wonderful show yet so underviewed. I was also about to watch Jojo but then I heard it's basically yaoi and I disliked the mangas as well so I guess there is no point to watch, and I'm not interested anyway anymore.

Yes, and I replied to all. How awesome is that?

Bleach became enjoyable once again after it went for worse. Just recently read like 8 of the latest chapters and omg, that's Kubo for you. Might check out that 514 later today. Reading those at night pleases my comedic needs.

I'm not a big fan of it tbh. I mean sure I'm enjoying it by far cuz tits, but the plot is kinda lame and most of the side character don't feel much anything except they are assholes. I'm not expecting much from the last 4 episodes but will see what kinda impression those leave.

So, seen anything praiseworthy lately?

YOU KNOW YOU LOVE SUGOU DAISUKI

Karhu | 10-01-12, 7:41 AM
I see. Well I wasn't exactly fan of the ending of Major S2, but otherwise it was pretty awesome. I can understand your problems with S4, I think it has more flaws than any of the other seasons. You need to note that the studio changed after the 3rd season. But yeah, S4 pace was grin-worthy partly and how they executed that language barrier was problematic at least. Goro goes to 'murica and completely randomly meets a Japanese speaking baseball player who is going to the same place as he is, lol.

I need to make clear that I don't hate LoGH. It has been amazing partly, e.g. I marathoned episodes 11-18 and 24-37 both in one day, different date of course. I quite like how the author has balls to kill the characters, but in the same time it's being all over the place with all the million side characters who don't even matter. Simply said I think it's trying to be more epic than it can handle. From space operas I quite like Seikai no series. It's like Spice and Wolf in space and instead of economics its more of a political. I'm also reading manga called Five Star Stories and it's by far being quite impressive space opera for me. I might try LoGH again in the future but will see.

Heh, crying in the sake of crying isn't really my thing. :P AnoHana was I don't remember saying my views on Rose of Versailles, though. My biggest problems by far with it has been the side characters which have mainly been plot devices during the first episodes. Not that it is ruining the show to me or even annoying me all that much. I'm not fan of forced/arranged marriages either because most of the time those refer to retarded life philosophy in my eyes. I try to judge shows based to what they try to be, but in this case also needs to note how needed all the melodrama in it is. :J I'm guessing it will be better than your average shojo series.

It's okay, I can bear with essays if you bear with slowish replies.

So, is that S5 being awesome for you?

Karhu | 09-28-12, 8:40 AM
Probably the most accurate LoGH review in existence,
http://myanimelist.net/reviews.php?id=43209
Atm it's mainly waste of time to me so I doubt I will complete it.

Yeah, I just yesterday checked your ratings and all, I'm liking how our ratings to separate seasons are identical. S3 is the best one, imo. S5 gets close though, but it isn't as awesome, I just recently changed its score from an 8 to a 9. Honda Goro is my waifu. I doubt I will ever see better developed character.

Don't expect Kuroko no Basket to be good in terms of sports. I'm pretty sure the author hates basketball. It's good watch if you don't take it too seriously, though.

I see, det var synd. Fast känner själv att jag gradvist är inne allt mer sällan

Har du någon Last.fm?

Fyfan, skit bra!

To me, Osamu Dezaki melodrama is best melodrama. Square Enix melodrama.... makes me wanna mass the bucket.

Amadyeus | 09-07-12, 4:32 AM

(y) Led zeppelin, Pink floyd, ojoj. Jag är kär~
