Not really, but it's not time wasting.. The Art and the Sounds are good, also the Characters, but the Story is not really good. :)

Have you watched Dragonball Evolution? It can't get any worse. The funny thing is, the live action c-movie made in the 80's is a lot better than the high budget Evolution. |

Well I'm not reading any manga, because I don't like it.. I'm watching everything what I catch.. if you understand me. ;) Now I'm watching few anime's, as you see in my AnimeList. I just started to watch "Lodoss War" Since the episode's from 1990 to the last movie when it come out (2001 year). I downloaded the full torrent +artbook+OST's and few other stuffs.. My "Currentlly Watching" was bigger since the last week, becasue of these on going anime which were completed my animelist grown up.. ^^ You can see what I'm watching right now in my AL, so if you have any questions about the animes I'm watching or somethng else, you are free to do that.. :) |

I don't give a fck what people say, this series will always be a show that i really cherished as a kid. Still to this day there are some very memorable moments in the anime that i just can't seem to erase from my mind. Any series that leaves an impact on you like that, really deserves a higher score then what the fanbase is giving it.
This constant flaming of reviews really only started until the "100 ep filler arc" began. Before that i used to remember people just raving on about it all the time, how great of a show it was and how much they wanted to see the fated battle between sasuske and naruto. Bottom line is you can't rate a series based on filler content, especially if the remaining of the entire series is all fillers that have absolutely nothing to do with the manga storyline. |

Thank you! For giving an honest review on naruto. I am tired of all the hate this series is really getting, its discus-ting.
I mean sure its not the best series in the world, but for god sakes, its far from deserving one ratings. Unless you take into account the "fillers" as a part of the rating. If you look at the over all story and progression from episodes 1-134, one of the strong points to naruto is the characterization, every character seems to develop some sort of bond with each other. Relationships and character interactions are constantly challenged in the show. There is a whole emotional level to the anime that i thoroughly enjoyed as well. The action never really seems dull and the whole "ninja" aspect of the show is unique and interesting. I guess some people don't like the excessive talking and explaining, but i personally find it interesting my self how they explain in great detail how ninja techniques are used and what not, rather then just throwing action at you with out an explanation. What i don't like is shippoden, that series is kind of ending up like dbz, the whole "ninja" aspect of the show has kind of deteriorated from the story. It is more bout super powers vs super powers now then actually strategic ninja missions like the first series had. Anyway, i am not much of a shonen junkie. Of the few that i have seen, One piece is probably my most favorite for sure. You can read bout my review on my page if you feel like it. Everything that bleach and naruto lacks, OP just does it marvelously. But i think the rating from the fanbase for naruto is just a disgrace. I mean for god sakes this show is not so horrible that it deserves scores of below 5. Some people even rate it 1 just cause they love to flame and thats unfair. It's strange when you look at it, as being a long time fan, ive seen the fanbase change drastically. 5 years ago, naruto was like the most popular anime on the site and even MAL had straight 10's, if you go way way back to the first reviews published. You will see the difference in ratings. Suddenly people have just created such a horrible over all fanbase rating for this show that new comers won't even take the chance to actually watch it now. But think bout it. If most of these people hate it so much like they do, why in the sam hell did they watch 220 episodes then?" Ask your self that question. lol its just ludicrous i tell you. |
